Philip happened to take a bite of the eggplant first.
"Oh my God! Is this eggplant mixed with poison? It almost killed me!" he shouted as he spat it out.
Even after that, the awful taste stayed in his mouth. He ran straight to the bathroom and threw up for a long time.
"Mr. Wilson, I suddenly feel like eating a pancake," Chantelle said and her hand shook slightly as she held the fork.
"There are no ingredients," Daniel replied with a dark face. He clearly wasn't in a good mood.
Daniel had spent the whole morning trying to cook dishes that at least looked normal. But Philip ruined everything.
Yes, you destroyed all the ingredients. Chantelle complained to herself
"The food's cold now. Let's go eat out," Daniel said as he helped Chantelle up.
Chantelle looked relieved.
The kids let out a breath too, especially Kane, who dropped his fork and ran straight to the door.
"Daddy, someone smart like you shouldn't be wasting time in the kitchen."
