Earlier, when Camille spoke to Chantelle, she kept her composure and acted gently. But the moment Kane and Railer made their comments, her expression twisted in an instant. It was exactly like a mask changing in one of those street performers.
And with her overly colorful makeup, what Railer had said actually made sense.
Some people nearby couldn't help but laugh.
"Who is this woman? Chasing Mr. Wilson while looking like that? My eyes stung just seeing her around."
"You're right. She looks like a clown next to Mrs. Wilson."
"Now that I think about what she said, she really sounded like a bitch."
Camille heard the whispers around her, and her anger nearly exploded.
"Ms. Chantelle, do you even know how to raise your kids? Maybe I should teach them myself!" she gritted her teeth and tried to reach Kane and Railer's arms.
But Chantelle grabbed Camille's wrist as she gave her a cold look. "Camille, if you even try to lay a hand on my kids, you'll regret it."
