Lau stood before the worn, wooden gates of the Silver Leaf Orphanage, his eyes scanning the sprawling compound in Wu Tian City. The sun was setting, casting a warm orange glow over the scene. Children's laughter and playful shouts carried on the breeze, starkly contrasting the darkness that Lau represented.
He had come for a specific purpose – to select ten children who would become the foundation of the Dark Shadow Alliance's Shadow Council. These young minds would be molded, trained, and honed to serve as the alliance's future leaders.
Lau's gaze settled on a group of children gathered near the entrance. They eyed him warily, sensing the aura of power and mystery surrounding him. He smiled, his eyes glinting with a hint of warmth.
"Good Morning, lady," Lau said, his voice was cold and imposing. " My name is Shadow Emperor, and I have come here to take some children with me."
The lady named Wu Hua looked at him with her curious gaze and asked him, " What do you mean by that?."
"I want to give them some extraordinary opportunity to children", Lau said, his voice low and soothing. " I have no bad intentions toward them and I know that you were worried about them, and I promise that nothing will happen to them.
The lady's eyes widened, her face filled with amazement and surprise with a bit of concern.
Lau's gaze swept across the group of children and use his deduction system to dedcue their stats and their element affinity.
After checking their stats and element affinity, Lau was surprised and smiled inside his mind as he found the rough diamonds between the rocks.
"I see potential in each of you," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "But I must warn you – the path ahead will be challenging. You'll face trials, obstacles, and difficult choices. Are you willing to take the first step with me?"
The children looked at each other, then back at Lau. Slowly, they nodded in unison.
Seeing that the children nodded their heads, Lau said to the lady," I will take these ten children with me and I will make sure that these children will come to you to meet every year".
After saying these words, lau takes the children the children with them towards the forest.
After reaching the cave, Lau told the children," I will start training you all but before the start of training. I want to tell you that the training will be painful but if you survive the training you all will become the experts of this world".
Hearing the Lau words, The children looked at each other and slowly, they nodded in unison.
Seeing that all the children nodded their heads, Lau covered them with his space element and came to the world he created which he named the 'Shadow Headquarters'.
After coming to the Shadow Headquarters, Lau shared his vision for the Dark Shadow Alliance – a neutral force that would remain neutral in any case and not participate in any kind of conflict that occurs in the world.
The children listened intently, their minds absorbing the lessons and ideals that Lau imparted.
After talking about the shadow headquarters, Lau decides to start training the children. But before doing the training Lau decides to deduce their body, mind, and soul to their maximum potential and create the shadow space veins inside them.
