Chapter 36 - 7 Years Like Water

Lau strolled through the bustling market of Wu Tian City, weaving past stalls selling exotic spices, rare herbs, and intricately crafted jewelry and clothes. The roasting meats and wine aroma wafted through the air, enticing passersby to sample the local delicacies.

As he walked, Lau's mind wandered to the past seven years. So much had changed since he'd first set out to build his organization. He'd taken in ten talented children, each with unique abilities and strengths. Together, they'd created something truly remarkable.

Lau's thoughts turned to his children, now grown and accomplished in their respective fields. His two eldest, Huo Mu Hai and Huo Bing Guang had established the Alchemist Branch, renowned for its innovative elixirs and pills. The next two, Lei Ying and Jin Huo, founded the Weapon Refining Branch, crafting exceptional arms and armor for the Dark Shadow alliance.

The Information and Resource Gathering Branch, led by the resourceful duo, Yin Kong and Shui Ming Mu, had become the organization's eyes and ears, providing vital intelligence and securing valuable assets. Meanwhile, the youngest, Ming Yin Huo, had proven himself a brilliant military strategist, building the Army Branch into a formidable force with four distinct divisions: the Phoenix Army, Dragon Army, White Tiger Army, and Black Turtle Army.

Lau's thoughts also turned to his most introverted child, the soft-spoken but brilliant, Lei Yin Mu. She created the Formation Management Department, designing, managing, and implementing intricate formations to amplify the organization's strength.

Lastly, there were the brother and sister, Jin Tu Bing and Bing Kong, who had established the Resource Distributing and Finance Department. Their exceptional financial acumen enabled the organization to thrive, even in times of economic uncertainty.

As Lau navigated the crowded market, he felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had not only built a powerful organization but had also created a family, bound together by shared goals and values.

Lau's reflections were interrupted by the sound of merchants hawking their wares. He smiled, remembering the early days when he'd first begun building his organization. It had been a struggle, but his determination and the talents of his children had ultimately led to success.

Not only the children were doing their work but he was doing the work. Lau has given them the title of the 'Shadow Councilor' to them.

He also created a respected secret realm for their respected branches for them. He also connected the branches by space teleportation formation.

The Dark Shadow Alliance also opened different branches all over the world whether it is empires or the cities inside the empire. What's more shocking is that he was able to connect the city branches by teleportation formation.

He also connected the empires and different regions with space teleportation formation. This teleportation is not like the usual teleportation formation that was used by the people of the Duo qi continent it is different.

Lau and the shadow councilors of the Dark Shadow Alliance gather their manpower by taking orphan children from the orphanages and training them under the Dark Shadow Alliance.

Dark Shadow Alliance has become the powerful force on the Duo Qi continent on par with the five ancient clans in under 7 years.

As he continued his stroll, Lau's thoughts turned to his latest achievement – the creation of the Black Dragon Duo Qi Locking Arts. This innovative technique allowed practitioners to seal and focus their qi. This technique locks the duo qi and when it is released the duo qi is more than any other practitioner. It was a game-changer, and Lau knew it would give his organization a significant edge in the years to come.

The sun began to set, casting a warm orange glow over the market. Lau found a quiet spot to sit, watching as the stars began to twinkle in the night sky. He felt at peace, knowing that his organization was strong, and his children were thriving.

The future held many challenges, but Lau was confident that together, they would overcome them. He smiled, feeling a sense of contentment wash over him. The past seven years had been a journey, but it was only the beginning.
