IAN
I walked into the mansion, I couldn't help but feel a sense of surprise and excitement.
I had just received a message that Emma's parents had settled into a better place, and I was eager to deliver the news to Emma.
But as I entered the foyer, I was met with a scene that caught me off guard.
Nyx and Emma were standing in the middle of the room, I could see the tension between them, and my instincts told me to intervene.
But as I watched, I saw something that made me pause. Emma was standing up for herself, refusing to back down from Nyx's verbal attacks.
Maybe, just maybe, Nyx wouldn't cross Emma's limit again. I stood back, avoiding and hiding away from them so I could just watch without butting into it.
I didn't want Nyx to see me, and I wanted to give Emma the space to handle the situation.
Finally, Nyx stormed out of the room, leaving Emma standing alone. I waited for a moment, watching as Emma took a deep breath and composed herself.
