Like all noble castles, the Eagle's Keep had its own dungeon. However, due to years of peace in Eagle Town, it had long stood unused.
Now, it had become Rus's ideal laboratory.
Vulav and Moxingan were already waiting there with the necessary supplies. When Rus arrived, they both bowed respectfully. "Baron!"
"You've done well," Rus nodded, returning the gesture. "Now leave. Unless I give explicit orders, no one is to enter this room—no matter what sounds they hear. Do not let anyone in under any circumstances."
"Yes, my lord!" The two promptly exited, and silence quickly settled over the dungeon.
Despite being a dungeon, the space was quite large. It held six separate cells, each lined with straw and capable of housing up to four prisoners. At the far end was a larger chamber, big enough to hold over a dozen people—maybe even several dozen if packed tightly. Currently, it held just one live pig, its limbs bound and tossed inside.
