Giles couldn't help but secure the phone model Frieda wanted. They only needed to make the trip to buy it. He long knew his daughter would never back down once she decided on something. Since Rhodes managed to tame her, the father could only help in ways he could. He even received an apology from Frieda that morning.
"Come on, Uncle! You're so slow. You're not even that old!" Frieda didn't smile, but Rhodes could feel her enthusiasm radiating from those eyes and movements. Her loud voice even attracted other people's gazes on the streets.
"Where are you taking me?" Rhodes sighed as he allowed the girl to drag him by the wrist. However, despite how strongly Frieda pulled him, Rhodes still lagged behind her.
