Naoki went inside Xeria and was immediately amazed by the view.
"Woah who knew the Capital is this big."
"Welp I need to find the guild before I'm too late."
Naoki began walking to find the guild. He saw so many things different types of weapon,armor, scrolls and many more.
But after 30 Minutes of walking he still couldn't find the guild that holds the try out.
"*Nom* *Nom* I've been walking for 30 minutes and I still haven't found the guild, maybe I should as others." Naoki said while eating pork buns
Naoki then began to look around and he saw a hooded person wearing a adventurers badge.
"Oh! An adventurer I should ask them."
Naoki walked towards the hooded person to ask about the guild
"Um hey the one with the hood"Naoki said
The person then turned around and looked at Naoki. Naoki saw that the hooded person is a female with crimson eyes and pale skin.
"Hello miss can I ask where can I find the guild?"Naoki asked
"Oh are you going to the try outs?" The girl asked
Naoki nods
"Well just head straight and when you see a bakery turn left and keep going and you will find the guild." The girl answered
"Thank you very much stranger." Naoki said as he handed out a pork bun to the girl
"Here this is my gratitude to you"
After he gave the pork bun he immediately run to find the guild
"Hm what an interesting fella. *Nom*"

Naoki finally reach the guild after a few minutes
*Hah* *hah*
"I made it phew that was close." Naoki said as he saw a familiar face
It was Fannar and Elvin just standing in quest board. He approach both of them and try to greet them.
"Look this quest gives more reward!" Fannar shouted while holding a quest to kill 10 orcs
"Nuh uh that's too boring I would rather take this"Elvin said while also holding a quest to kill an elite orc
"And make me do the work?!"
"Uhhh hello sir Fannar and Elvin." Naoki asked
"Oh Naoki! Great timing can you help me on Fannar his getting mad again." Elvin said while Fannar is holding him up in the air.
"Uhhh I don't think I can help with that,hahaha.."
Fannar then threw Elvin out the window and greeted Naoki.
"Now that's done Naoki seems like you have made a choice huh? You ready for the try out?"
"What about Elvin?"
"Ah don't worry about him his a tough fellow." Fannar said while Naoki looked outside the window and saw Elvin inside a barrel.
"Anyways I'm ready for my try outs what do I need to do? Do I follow the other trainees or what?"Naoki immediately asked
"Oh you don't have to worry about that since you were recommended by the two of us the assistant guild leader wants you to do three task to prove your worth and you are officially an adventurer."Fannar answered
"Here are the three tasks that were handed out first you must kill 5 Dire Wolves, secondly kill a hobgoblin lastly is a duel to an adventurer."
"Alright I'm ready I can't wait to join!"Naoki said
"That's the spirit! Hey Elvin get up from there, let's go!" Fannar said to Elvin through the window.
After a few minutes they arrived at the {Monster Forest} a natural habitat for monsters to thrive.
"Say Fannar why was this forest called the Monster?"
"Well it's called that because this is a natural habitat for many monsters to breed but another factor is tha many tried to clear this forest but the deeper you are the stronger the monster are in this forest, so it later became named as the monster forest" Fannar Answered
As they are talking Dire Wolves appear

"Alright you only need 5 right fang of the dire wolves to prove you killed it but if you can defeat them all you can use the fangs for money."
"So you ready?" Fannar questioned
"Always ready!" Naoki said and he then attack the monsters
[Wind Arrows]
A barrage of arrows made of wind were fired at the wolves but some of the wolves dodge it.
'They can dodged it huh?'
[Raging Jab]
Naoki punch one of the wolves and some back off
'Alright they're easier than I thought ' Naoki thought
Just then two wolves attack him from behind
?!
[Fire Ball]
A ball of fire burnt the wolves to crisp
'tsk I wasted some fangs I need to be careful using fire magic'
More wolves approached Naoki but Naoki pummeled them down and killing them all.
*Crack*
Naoki gathered all the fangs he collected and counted it.
"So how many you got?"Elvin asked
"So excluding the burnt one I got 11 right fangs."
"Sweet I guess you're already stronger than some F class adventurers."
"Let's go and do the other tasks" Naoki excitedly said
After a few minutes of exploring the forest seeing all types of monster they found one hobgoblin leading some other goblins.
When they saw the monsters they hide from the bush so the monsters won't run from them.

"Alright Naoki it's your time to shine"Elvin said
"Alright!"
Naoki jumped out from the bush and attacked the monsters
*Raaaa!!*
*Reeeee!!!*
The hobgoblin ordered the goblins to attack Naoki. The goblins with bow shot their arrows but Naoki effortlessly dodge it
"Compared to Dawn this arrows are way too slow." Naoki as he faced head on from the goblins
The first goblin swung his club at Naoki but he dodge it and throw a punch. A two more goblins attack swinging their swords.
[Fire Ball]
Naoki burnt down the goblins
Finally he killed the remaining goblins and came face to face with the Hobgoblin
*Screeee!!!*
The Hobgoblin holding a stone sword and a wooden shield swung his weapon
*Crack*
'the attack is slow but the damage will be very dangerous.'
[Raging Jab]
Naoki throws a jab but it manage to block it using it's shield
The Hobgoblin kick Naoki in the stomach sending him flying
"*Hah* *hah* I got hit once and that hurt really bad I really need to keep it at bay for now" Naoki muttered
[Wind Arrows]
A barrage of arrows made of wind came flying at the Hobgoblin but
*Shines*
The sword of the hobgoblin shine and swung it's sword blowing the arrows away
'it can use mana!' Naoki was shocked by this sudden turn of events when the hobgoblin lunges toward Naoki
*Crack*
Naoki barely dodge the attack and he then land a counter attack
[Justice Smash]
The attack landed on the hobgoblin but it barely fazed the monster and lands another attack
Luckily Naoki dodged it in time but he lost his balance and making the monster land a clean attack on him
*Blegh*
He was slashed on his chest
"Naoki!" The two said and run towards Naoki to save him
'this is the end Father was right I didn't even last a day'
The Hobgoblin is preparing to land the final hit but
*Shines*
*Clank!*
A Gauntlet appeared from the journal to his hand and protecting Naoki
?!
'this is the same as the armor but it's only covering my hands better used it now!'
[Raging Jab]
Using the Gauntlet Naoki lands an attack and manage to hurt the monster
[Grand Pummeling]
He then uses his gauntlet and pummeled down the hobgoblin to the ground.
"Time to finish this!"Naoki said and land the finishing blow
[Justice Smash]
*Splat*
Naoki Smashed the hobgoblins chest to the ground causing to spill blood everywhere
*Hah* *hah*
Naoki Covered in blood stand up and looked at Fannar and Elvin
"I did it.." Naoki said while smiling
"*Sigh* you really did now grab the left ear." Fannar said
"That's enough for 1 day let's head back to the guild
At noon the trio returned to the guild and present it to the assistant guild leader,when a black haired female with glasses entered the room
"Who's she?" Naoki whispered
"She's the Assistant Guild Leader a former A rank Adventurer."
"Fannar what are the results?"
"Here you go ma'am " Fannar said as he handed out the materials that Naoki killed
"Hmm it's freshly killed and not bought and you said you killed the hobgoblin on your own?"
"Yes Ma'am "Naoki answered
"Impressive I thought your gonna ask for help from them but I guess not. "
"Anyways you still have one last test but you're gonna do it next week because I'm gonna Arrange the arena for you and the adventurer you're going to fight, so for now get some rest."
After she said that they got up and leave the room
"Well see you next week Naoki try training that gauntlet of yours you might need it for the battle, anyway good luck" Elvin said
"Thank you very for your help"Naoki said
Later he bought a room in the inn and stayed there for tonight.
