Chapter 211 - Chapter 211: Trouble Arrives

Roa saw a figure in black clothing, completely wrapped in a black robe, clearly not a good person.

The figure spoke lightly, "You're quite capable, but it wouldn't be fun without this."

The voice was rough, sounding somewhat like a man's, which surprised Roa slightly.

As the words fell, the figure in black transformed into a flash of lightning, charging toward Roa. His expression turned cold, and he threw the knight's sword directly at the black figure's position.

The sword shot out at three times the speed it had come, the cold gleam of the knight's sword almost reaching the black figure in the blink of an eye.

The black figure scoffed, raising a finger as a bolt of lightning gathered at his fingertip. The lightning collided with the incoming sword; while the lightning was powerful, it wasn't too strong, and combined with the force Roa used, the black figure successfully intercepted the knight's sword.

The sword fell to the ground as the black figure walked toward Roa.

Roa glanced at the surrounding students and said lightly, "You all should leave; this guy is here for me."

With such a strong intent, who else could he be looking for?

The concerned students wanted to step forward, but the black figure coldly snorted and said to them, "Get lost! The person I'm looking for isn't you!"

The arrogant words of the figure in black angered the students. Most of the students in the library were quite capable; who could tolerate such disrespect?

A girl with a seemingly fiery temper stepped forward and coldly huffed, "You, intruder, dare to be so arrogant? It seems necessary to teach you a lesson!"

With that, she began to chant a series of Spirit spells, surrounded by a whirlwind.

Roa frowned and looked around.

If a fight broke out in the library, the fate of the books was obvious; he could already imagine Greyworth lecturing him.

Taking advantage of the fact that the two hadn't fully engaged yet, Roa quickly pulled the hot-tempered senior aside and whispered something in her ear.

A slight blush appeared on the senior's face; after all, it was her first time being so close to a boy, which made her a bit shy.

This shyness came quickly and left just as fast. Upon hearing Roa's words, her brow raised as she surveyed the surrounding books, falling into thought.

Indeed, as Roa said, if they fought here, even if they won, they would still face a scolding.

Roa said to her, "Let's go; I'll draw him away. This level of opponent is not my match."

Roa's words made the senior feel even more hesitant. The black figure didn't give them much time to communicate, coldly snorting, "What are you two whispering about?"

Est stepped forward, standing beside Roa. Her cold gaze made the black figure frown. He recalled the information about the girl in front of him and said playfully, "Is this your contracted spirit?"

Roa didn't say much, directly addressing the black figure, "This isn't the place for a fight; let's change locations."

The black figure surveyed the surroundings, where girls were glaring at him angrily. Although he was arrogant, if a fight broke out, these girls would become an obstacle.

Moreover, he recalled what that damned dark spirit had said.

You brought this upon yourself; don't blame me for being ruthless.

The black figure said with a playful tone, "Then, as you wish."

His tone made Roa feel something was off.

However, confident in his skills, Roa followed the other party without hesitation.

Besides, if there was a trap, Roa could easily expose the forces behind the opponent; this guy's strength was definitely not strong.

The black figure's form turned into a shadow, darting between the academy buildings, heading toward the Spirit Forest.

Seeing the other party act this way, Roa was even more certain that they were likely part of a group.

Deep in the Spirit Forest, far from the academy, ancient trees surrounded the area, and the surroundings were filled with lush greenery.

The black figure stopped, glancing back at the golden-haired boy following not far behind, revealing a smile.

"Not bad, you're quite the spirit user, just like me."

The black figure removed his hood, revealing his true appearance.

He was a young man covered in tattoos, with tanned skin adorned with these tattoos, even on his face.

The young man's expression was arrogant, and a mocking smile appeared on his face as he scoffed, "But aren't you a bit too arrogant to keep up with the enemy's pace?"

Roa frowned; the other party's expression annoyed him. He coldly replied, "Kid, you have someone behind you, right? Bring him out."

The young man was taken aback for a moment; his expression became more playful, but soon turned sinister. He spoke first, "Well, there are indeed others, but for now, let me play with you. Let me introduce myself; my name is Jio. Remember this name, the one who will kill you; this is my last act of mercy."

Upon hearing this, Roa displayed a strange expression. This guy really dared to say that.

However, he was indeed the first to speak to Roa like this.

Ignoring Roa's odd expression, the young man named Jio felt quite pleased with himself. He had already put on the act, and all that was left was to showcase his powerful strength, to crush the opponent to the ground, and let that dark spirit see who the true heir of the demon king was.

"Manifest! Wolf Spirit————!"

A cold voice came from Jio's mouth.

A blood-red flash flickered, bursting forth from a crimson pattern on Jio's arm. At the same time, something resembling lightning appeared around him, but what puzzled Roa was that he didn't feel any divine power.

The dazzling light, like a surge of lightning, erupted in all directions.

The brilliant light that shot out didn't disappear; instead, it gathered in front of Jio, transforming into a fierce wolf spirit that seemed to be made of lightning.

Roa didn't know how powerful wolf-type spirits were, but after a preliminary estimate, this wolf spirit appeared to be a mid-tier spirit.

Mid-tier spirits were already considered the limit that an average person could obtain in this world, but to Roa, it was still at a level he could easily crush.

Moreover, this spirit gave Roa a strange feeling.

It seemed somewhat lacking in intelligence.

While mid-tier spirits didn't possess high intelligence, they were somewhat sentient, with an IQ roughly at the level of a one- or two-year-old child.
