Chapter 82 - Fight Between Beast Tide Vs Otherworlders Ascendants Part-1

The skies above Jakartha did not only darken with clouds of dark night.

No.

They blackened with the scent of blood and the promise of death.

A suffocating pressure choked the air as tremors rolled through the earth.

BOOM… BOOM… CRACK!

Distant roars echoed like the drums of war. Not thunder. Not nature.

Beasts.

The Beast Tide had begun.

From the high walls of Jakartha, floodlights flared to life.

WHOOSH!

Cutting through the darkness and revealing a nightmare stampede stretching to the horizon. A thousand wild beasts surged forward in chaotic harmony, their screeches rising in a chorus of fury.

Inside the city, the Adventurer Guild had already mobilized.

500 Ascendants.

Elite warriors. Adventurous. The best Jakartha could offer. And yet, even they felt it. That sinking feeling…That this may not be enough.

They weren't fighting to win. They were fighting to endure. Protect loved ones and city.

To survive. To hold the line.

DING!

Magical markers lit up across the battlefield as the Ascendants split into ten highly trained units of 40 members each:

Frontline Tankers in 10 membered team, The immovable wall. Knights Their job? Stand. No matter what.

Support Teams in 10 membered team, Priest menders of flesh and spirit. Buffs, heels, barriers were the pulse behind the blade.

Close-Range Damage Dealers in 10 membered team Warriors, Assassins and beast tamed in the storm.

Long-Range Damage Dealers (10): Archers and spellcaster Mages, wielding precision and destruction like divine wrath.

Each team faced 80 to 100 wild beasts an impossible ratio designed to buy time, break momentum, and blunt the tide. But even this wasn't the full picture.

100 Otherworlders stood behind the lines reserves, strategically placed. These foreign-born Ascendants were the city's last hope, ready to be unleashed where the defense faltered.

But what made this Beast Tide different? Intelligence. These monsters were no mindless horde. They were a war machine.

Each group of beasts moved with discipline, controlled by terrifying leaders 3rd Star Peak Stage monsters commanders capable of tactics, manipulation, and brutal coordination.

Every wave was structured like a military unit:

50 beasts from 1st Star Low to Peak

30 beasts from 2nd Star Low to Peak

19 beasts from 3rd Star Low to Mid

And 1 beast at 3rd Star Peak their general, their king, their nightmare.

Ten legions. Ten kings. One purpose: break the wall, devour the city.

And Jakartha?

Had no Mortal Tier Foundation Stage Ascendants of its own.

Not a single 3rd Star Ascendant.

Only a few seven to ten at most 2nd Star Peak Otherworlders remained as their highest-ranked fighters.

BANG!

THUD!

CRACK!

The first clash erupted at the northern gate

screams mixed with roars, steel with fang. The walls shook. Fires bloomed in the distance. The Beast Tide had arrived.

And it brought the end with it.

Each of these commanders didn't just lead.they guarded.

Sacred flowers that grew only in cursed soil.

Mystic ores that shimmered with forbidden mana.

Roots that pulsed like beating hearts beneath the earth. But today? They fought not for treasure or territory. They fought for annihilation.

Jakartha stood.

Outnumbered. Outmatched. Overwhelmed.

But not broken.

The banners rose. Weapons gleamed in the dying light. Hearts beat as one.

"HOLD THE LINE!!"

CLANG! WHOOSH! THUD!

The storm met the mountain.

And Jakartha?

Jakartha did not kneel.

Not now.
