The crowd, pushed and shoved, was acting like a wild frenzy. What started with a few people had quickly escalated into a mass of bodies, surging in all directions.
The South Street Alley had always been a favorite spot for the working class, a place known for its cheap yet high-quality goods. It was the busiest night market in the Red Moon Pack area, popular among students, office workers, and middle-aged men and women alike.

Most of the street vendors were young men and women who had lost their jobs and were helping out their families, along with some middle-aged women. When the first shout of "Brat" echoed through the air, they all stretched their necks and looked around in confusion. Whether they believed it or not, they all glanced toward the crowded area, drawn in by the commotion.
