"No!" Tara instinctively denied, "How could I possibly be in the Red Moon Pack…"
Martin rolled his eyes in exasperation and asked directly, "Are you and Regina together?"
"…" Tara was struck by the sheer absurdity of it all. She looked over at Regina, who was still distractedly watching the crowded South Street Alley, completely oblivious to her phone. Tara tilted her head and responded, "I guess."
"You came… Does Waldo know?" Martin's voice deepened.
"You're not going to sell me out, are you?" Tara didn't answer but countered with a question.
Leaning against his car, one arm crossed over his chest to support the hand holding the phone, Martin smirked. "You handle your son; I'm not getting involved."
"Just knew you'd be the obedient one!" Tara's smile reflected in her voice before she added, "So Rae was waiting for you!"
