Mia, Lucas and the three Expert mages watching from a distance felt numb all over, their eyes blank from shock as they looked at the scene of Mr Chen casting one lightning bolt after another, their bodies would occasionally shudder along with the rumbling of the ground.
Somehow, the three felt bad for the lizardman to have been caught by someone like Mr Chen; they never knew that he was this ruthless!
Lucas was already shivering for a different reason as he watched this scene.
Everyone knew that as a mage grew stronger, the number of stars in one's soul sea would gradually increase in numbers which were used to form channels for their mana when casting spells. The stronger the spell, the more stars were needed to channel enough mana and the more stars that a mage needed to connect, the more time it would take!
