Lucas froze when he saw Mr Chen's head turn, and the white mask was now facing him; his body shuddered again as he recalled the scene of Mr Chen drowning himself along with the lizardman in lightning bolts.
Scary!
He instantly averted his gaze and stared at the ground, his knees trembling.
"Hmm, Lucas, right? I don't recall seeing you before, when did I agree to join your group?" Alex said as he slowly approached Lucas.
The eyes of the other two lit up after hearing this. So Lucas was deceiving them, Mr Chen didn't even know the bastard!
"I-I'm sorry, M-Mr Chen, I…." Lucas's lips trembled as he tried to speak, but nothing meaningful came out of his mouth as he stuttered uncontrollably; large beads of sweat formed on his forehead as he felt a piercing gaze on him.
It was as if the devil was observing him, he wanted to run away!
