Chapter 45 - Chapter 45: You Are Not Worthy Enough to Be the Enemy of the Empire!

Is this guy out of his mind?!

I've already explained that the Ōtsutsuki clan is a celestial race that roams the cosmos, targeting planets with life. Yet, he's still rambling about that ridiculous "Child of Prophecy"!

This man is truly delusional! He's been completely brainwashed by a toad!

"Menma, some people are just impossible to convince," said Black Kakashi, shaking his head.

Menma sighed. "Now I fully understand why His Majesty despises you. Honestly, if I had a teacher like you, I'd probably be ruined by your nonsense!"

"...?"

Jiraiya's brow twitched.

So, in another version of the ninja world, his counterpart isn't exactly well-liked? He was even banned from interacting with that world's Naruto?

"Then let me ask you something."

Jiraiya, shaking off his confusion, asked seriously, "In your world, how exactly did your emperor achieve all of this?"

"It's simple," Menma replied without hesitation. "Through strength. Through power!"

Jiraiya sighed. As expected, the emperor of this so-called empire was someone who believed in solving everything with brute force. It was no surprise he disliked Jiraiya's ideals.

With a raised hand, Menma began listing the achievements of his emperor—events that were well-known history in his world:

Year 40 of the Konoha Calendar: His Majesty waged the Unification War and defeated the combined forces of the four great ninja villages, bringing the entire ninja world under one rule.

Year 5 of the Imperial Calendar: His Majesty unlocked the power of Ten Thousand Things.

Following Years: He eradicated the hidden dangers lurking in the shadows of the ninja world and destroyed the Three Great Sage Lands.

Year 10 of the Imperial Calendar: He transcended the limits of mortals and stepped into the realm of the Six Paths.

Later Years: His Majesty purified the Pure Land, subdued the moon's inhabitants, and eliminated extraterrestrial threats hiding in different dimensions.

Year 15 of the Imperial Calendar: He surpassed the Six Paths level and ascended to an even higher realm.

Final Battles: He unsealed the ancient chakra progenitor trapped on the moon and annihilated all external enemies lurking beyond space.

Menma spoke as if everything was obvious, as if these events were nothing more than milestones in history.

Jiraiya, however, was utterly dumbfounded.

"Wait… There aren't that many enemies in the ninja world, are there?" he asked, confused.

Every time Menma mentioned another battle or conquest, Jiraiya's shock deepened.

"Ninja Shura? Are you talking about Uchiha Madara? He's been dead for decades! And… Pure Land? The Moon? Another dimension? What kind of threats are even out there?!"

Jiraiya struggled to make sense of it all.

"Wait… Why did your emperor wipe out the Three Sage Lands? What did Mount Myōboku, Ryūchi Cave, and Shikkotsu Forest do?"

"That's what you're concerned about?" Menma scoffed. "This is exactly why His Majesty finds you laughable."

Jiraiya had no words. He was only focusing on the part he could understand—because the rest sounded like complete madness!

Shaking his head, he shifted the topic. "Never mind your world for now. What I want to know is—why are you people here? Is your emperor planning to invade our ninja world?"

Menma smirked. "And if he was, what would you do about it?"

"So it's true!" Jiraiya clenched his fists. "Your emperor's obsession with power and conquest will never last! No matter how strong you think you are, I will resist you with everything I have!"

His words carried the weight of his unwavering determination.

Yet, instead of fear, Menma and Black Kakashi simply laughed.

"Jiraiya," Menma said coldly, "before coming here, His Majesty made a list of potential threats in this parallel world. Guess what? Your name isn't even on it."

"...?"

"You aren't even worthy of being considered an enemy of the empire!"

Jiraiya didn't falter. "So what? Even if I'm weak in your eyes, I will never surrender to you! And you may come to regret underestimating me."

He wasn't just a wandering sage. He had mastered Sage Mode. He had fought alongside powerful allies and had stood against enemies that threatened the world. With the power of Mount Myōboku's toads, he could stand against even the strongest shinobi.

Menma, however, remained unimpressed.

"There are three highest-level threats His Majesty identified in this world," he said. "One is on the moon. One is in the Pure Land. And one exists in another dimension."

Jiraiya listened carefully, trying to remember every detail. Even if he didn't understand everything, any information about these invaders could be valuable.

"Below that," Menma continued, "are the secondary threats—like the original founders of the Three Sage Lands, the potential return of the Ninja Shura, the Shinigami, and the Eight Gates Formation."

Jiraiya's mind reeled.

"And below that?" he asked cautiously.

"The Rinnegan left behind by the Ninja Shura, dangerous creatures hidden in this world, and the Six Paths Ninja Tools. Among the shinobi, only the Dust Release of the Second and Third Tsuchikage is considered a real threat."

Dust Release.

Jiraiya clenched his jaw. So the only jutsu these invaders feared from this world was the particle-style technique of the Iwa ninjas?

"And me?" Jiraiya asked, knowing the answer.

Menma smirked. "You barely qualify as a footnote. Mount Myōboku's Sage Mode? Worthless in our eyes."

Jiraiya frowned but kept his composure. He had already gained what he needed. If these invaders feared Dust Release and the Eight Gates, then those were the weapons the ninja world could use against them.

"Young man, thank you for all the information," Jiraiya said, forcing a grin. "Now, if you'll excuse me—"

Without hesitation, he formed hand seals, preparing to escape. He needed to take this intelligence back to the Five Great Nations and rally the ninja world against the empire!

"Trying to run?" Menma sneered. "Did you really think I wouldn't anticipate this?"

He stomped the ground.

Black runes spread instantly, forming an intricate sealing array.

"Flying Thunder God—Banishment Seal!"

In an instant, the space around Jiraiya distorted. His escape route was cut off completely!

His heart pounded. This wasn't an ordinary teleportation jutsu—this was a seal specifically designed to counter the Flying Thunder God technique!

"Not good!"

For the first time, Jiraiya realized how truly dangerous these invaders were.

These weren't just powerful enemies.

They were monsters.

And if he didn't find a way out—

The ninja world was doomed.
