For three days since my coward of a brother arrested Cassia, I have not laid eyes on her. I went to all the spots in Varyon I knew they kept prisoners, but Cassia was not there. 


Neither had I seen her anywhere around in public. What was going on? Where was she? 


I had also asked nearly everyone in Varyon about the whereabouts of Cassia, but nobody told me where she was. 


I was going crazy, and so was my wolf. 


''You should have marked her. By now, we would have easily sniffed her out. Now look at us, suffering.'' 


Maximus was pacing in my head. He had been pacing like a lunatic for the past three days, giving me sleepless nights.
