"Liriel, this isn't how to play hide and seek. I'm supposed to come find you." My little voice complains as I stare at the blue-eyed girl who has her red hair packed in a ponytail.
"That may be how YOU play YOUR hide and seek. But we're playing a different way today." She replies as she walks closer to me, and I raise a brow.
"What do you mean?" I question, and a mischievous smile splits her small face.
"You're the one who'll hide today. Your father and Kealith will seek for you… But they won't find you." She says as she steps closer to me, and I take a tentative step back.
"You sound scary, Liriel," I inform as I try to take another step away from her, but stop when I realise there's a deep hole behind me.
"Oh, don't be scared. It's just a game. You're the one who wanted to play hide and seek, weren't you?" She questions as she finally stops a few inches away from me, and I eye her suspiciously.
