I walk down the hallway, and Queen Velnara is waiting for me at the end. She waves her hand at my handmaidens, and they bow at her before turning away and walking off.
"Good morning, Queen Velnara." I greet her, but she turns away from me with a straight face.
"There's nothing good about this morning, dear." She replies, and I walk after her.
We walk for a while before we get to two massive doors guarded by four men. Two of the men pull the metal doors open, and I follow Queen Velnara down the stairs.
"No matter what. Do not take the amulet off. Without it, those beasts will be able to sense your presence. Find a place to hide and survive for as long as you can." She instructs, and I nod, but she suddenly stops and turns to me.
"Come back to me immediately, the way back presents itself to you. It only comes once." She says, and only then do I see that she's fighting tears.
