The scarlet Sharingan glowed ominously as the three black tomoe spun rapidly around the central pupil. Seals formed in an instant, and Miao declared with cold precision, "Fire Release: Grand Fire Annihilation!" A colossal inferno erupted from his mouth, a blazing sea of flames that surged toward the Kiri-nin like an unstoppable force.
"What… what kind of Fire Release is this?!" A Kiri ANBU stared in utter horror at the overwhelming wall of fire, his face pale with disbelief. The towering inferno loomed like the gaping maw of some monstrous beast, threatening to devour everything in its path.
"The range is too wide! Use Water Release!" Another ANBU shouted urgently, his hands flying through seals. Several other Kiri-nin followed suit, quickly unleashing their own jutsu.
"Water Release: Water Encampment Wall!"
"Water Release: Clear Water Wave!"
Massive torrents of water surged forward, colliding with the fiery onslaught. Yet, the flames proved relentless. The water evaporated almost instantly, forming thick clouds of steam, but the inferno only weakened slightly before roaring onward, unrelenting in its advance toward the Kiri-nin.
"How is this possible?!" The ANBU's eyes widened beneath his mask, but there was no time to react as the flames engulfed him entirely.
The ANBU and over a dozen Kiri-nin who hadn't managed to unleash their techniques were swallowed whole by the fiery tide. Their screams echoed through the battlefield.
"Incredible Fire Release… No wonder it belongs to the Uchiha clan!" Mei Terumi watched Miao's devastating technique with wide-eyed astonishment. The others shared her shock—none of them had ever witnessed such a fearsome display of Fire Release.
Unfazed by their reactions, Miao's crimson Sharingan gleamed with an eerie light as he darted forward, kunai in hand, moving like lightning into the midst of the Kiri-nin.
"You… you're from the Uchiha clan?!" An ANBU gasped upon seeing Miao's Sharingan, his face turning ashen. But before he could finish his sentence, Miao appeared in front of him in an instant, driving the kunai deep into his heart.
Blood sprayed as the Kiri-nin collapsed, his eyes frozen in shock and confusion. Without a word, Miao flicked the blood from his kunai and moved again, swift as a shadow. In the next moment, another Kiri-nin engaged in combat with an Allied shinobi found his throat slit open by Miao's blade.
The battlefield erupted into full-blown chaos. Kunai clashed against ninjato, sparks flying alongside the metallic ring of weapons colliding. Most shinobi relied on taijutsu and tools, given the sheer number of combatants. Large-scale jutsu were risky, as they might harm allies in the crowded melee.
After delivering a powerful opening blow with their large-scale techniques, Mei and the others swiftly joined the fray, relying on taijutsu to carve through the enemy ranks.
Battle cries filled the air as countless shinobi clashed. The outskirts of Kirigakure were consumed by flames and chaos, a spectacle both horrifying and awe-inspiring.
"Byakugan!" Ao activated his white eye, crouching just in time to avoid a gleaming katana slicing through the air above him. His gaze hardened. "Pfft!" With lightning speed, he thrust a kunai into the ANBU's heart.
"You…!" The ANBU trembled, then collapsed silently. Ao spoke coldly, "Don't think you can ambush someone with the Byakugan. Remember this well before you die."
"AHHHH!" Chōjūrō roared, swinging his massive Hiramekarei with brute force. Three ANBU were unable to withstand the violent impact, their bodies sent flying as blood sprayed into the air. The blades in their hands shattered under the immense pressure.
"Huff…" Chōjūrō exhaled deeply, his expression worried as he glanced around. Pushing up his square-framed glasses, he muttered uncertainly, "Leader-sama should be fine, right? I need to have more confidence in myself…"
With a single kick, Mei sent a Kiri-nin flying backward. Her gaze fixed intently on the depths of Kirigakure as she thought silently, I hope everything goes smoothly over there. Success or failure hinges on this one move. We must take Kirigakure!
At this point, the Allied Forces had gained complete control of the battlefield. The outer defenses of Kirigakure crumbled under Mei's leadership, leaving the Kiri-nin in disarray, nearly routed.
"Everyone, follow me into Kirigakure!" Mei shouted to the group. Ao echoed her call, "Charge into Kirigakure!"
"BOOM!" The remaining Allied shinobi swiftly organized themselves into disciplined squads, advancing into Kirigakure in an orderly fashion—a testament to their rigorous training. The few remaining Kiri-nin were surrounded and disarmed, forced to surrender.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!" Explosions continued to rock Kirigakure from within. High above the village, Deidara stood atop his massive white bird, laughing maniacally as it circled the skies.
"Behold, you uncultured brutes who know nothing of art! This is my art, the highest form of art!" Deidara declared arrogantly, basking in his destructive glory.
"The rebels have allied with a rogue from Iwagakure?! Such treachery is unforgivable!" A Kiri-nin growled, glaring venomously at Deidara in the sky.
"Damn it! He's in the air—we can't reach him! Many of our men have already fallen to his bombs! If this continues, how can we possibly hold back the rebels?!" Another Kiri-nin panicked, his voice trembling.
"Silence!" The lead Kiri jonin snapped coldly.
"Yes, sir!" The frightened shinobi nodded hastily, too afraid to speak further.
The battle for Kirigakure raged on, the tides of war shifting inexorably in favor of the Allied Forces. With their combined strength and relentless determination, victory seemed within reach—but the heart of the village still held secrets and dangers yet to be uncovered.
