While distributing the new project to my co-employees, I am also getting nervous because what if our boss will go outside and will see me? What if he'll approach me and then hurt me because of what we did? But hey, I didn't even force him! It was him who did a dirty tricks on me and I fell on that damn tricks! By the way, I was just nervous but am not scared. And I know he won't go outside his office because he was just locking himself in his office and drown himself with his papers. For sure, he will not think as well that the gay he just penetrated, is one of his employees.
"Damian, here," I uttered and then gave him the folder. It has the context of the new project that we'll launch this month and I think it's brand new cosmetics. Well, I just realized that our company is for beauty products and I am confused why the CEO is a man. And it just answered me that maybe, he was gay too? But it was too far, okay? It is so impossible because I saw how he mingled with women in some bars before! I also met him in my secret haven and he was even kissing different women in one night!
So I think he was just drunk that time! And some other think that I am a woman with a short hair so maybe, he think the same thing as well!
"New lipstick, huh? I think this shade will bloom. You know, lot of sophisticated and rich rich women loves applying red lipstick. Our CEO really knows how to target those people." Damian with a smirk on his lips, uttering those words while flipping the pages of the folder.
"Is it really the CEO's plans? Or maybe, is it really his idea? The.. you know, the cosmetics?" I hesitantly said. He stared at me with his confusing eyes.
"Don't you know? This company originally and legally owned by his mother but because she was sick, his son helped him and he's the acting CEO. But, I am sure, he'll inherit this company because Madam has no other children aside from him." Oh? This is the first time I heard of this. I didn't know that he was just an acting CEO but Damian is right. For sure, he'll inherit this huge company. This company's brand is really great and famous because of its beautiful products. From lipsticks to other cosmetics... so almost half of the population workers of the company, women employees are dominating it because they were so passionate with it.
While me? I just don't have a choice. I just applied here because the salary is not a joke. They really pay well and it can benefit me because I am planning to leave our house. I want to live alone.
"You didn't read the company's background when you got here, Rico?" Damian is now suspecting me but I just smiled awkwardly. Well, I didn't honestly.
"N-No, of course I read it, it's just that I forgot it. You know, I was still thinking about my family's judgment about me these days, okay? And it's not easy." I reasoned out. Well, it is really one of the reasons.
He sighed while fixing his violet opened corporate suit, "I can't still believe that Jimenez family has poor point of views especially to us, gays. Your mom owned a famous clothing shop and brand, your father owned a big company of cars and your brother owned one of the famous bar but they discriminate so unfairly?" Wow, I didn't know that he researched almost half of my life? "And for sure, half of the customers... are members of rainbow community!" He almost shouted so I inmediately glared at him. He can't really control his loudness!
"Shh, your mouth Damian! You know that no one knew that I am one of their sons. And hey, how did you know all of that?" I curiously fired back but he just smirked at me like he was a genius.
"I am your bestfriend, Rico, I know a lot about you." He rolled his eyes and then focus his eyes again to the folders. "Hmm, if he'll launch these two shades of red, maybe it will immediately bloom." I approached his swivel chair and curiously looked at the pictures too.
"It's suits so well for those who wanted to be so rich-looking, rich people and elites but if you'll think wise and broad, those kind of lipsticks won't attract people who just have standard salaries who pay lot of expenses like electricity bills, groceries and other things like car's gas." I explained. My focus is still in the folder but in my periphery, I can see his judging eyes staring at me.
"You know, Rico? You're so brilliant with these kind of project... how about I'll tell the people I've known who are in the Management and Planning Department to include you in their meetings?" I immediately shook my head while still looking at the description and the distributions of the cosmetics.
The cosmetic industry describes the industry that manufactures and distributes cosmetic products. These include colour cosmetics, like foundation and mascara, skincare such as moisturisers and cleansers, haircare such as shampoos, conditioners and hair colours, and toiletries such as bubble bath and soap. So our company offers not just about beauty products, we are also making projects for hair, body and even private parts. So the range of this company's target is not just for one part.
"No, I'm good. I am good here in our International Marketing. I am good with promoting our products." I said and then looked at his face with a black lipstick applied. I winced because his face was too close that his nose almost touched mine. I immediately distant myself from him and then walked away from his cubicle.
"Guys! The CEO will observe us now!" My eyes gradually widened because of what that girl screamed! Just what?
"Oh my gosh! This is a blessing in disguise where I can see his gorgeous face!" I heard from Damian that made me bit my lower lip! My heart went abnormal because of the possibilities that he might see me! Fuck!
It maybe a blessing for him, but not for me!
