"Mom, who told you I got married?." Lexis headed towards the French window as he lit a cigarette.
He puffed some smokes out.
"It doesn't matter who told me. Answer my question. Who is the girl and why didn't you tell me about her? Why didn't you come home to tell me?."
"Maris is there. I don't wish to be breathing in the same air with him."
"What are mobile phones made for?."
"Mom—."
"Don't 'mom' me!," Bridget snapped, "do you know how embarrassing it is? For a mother to know of her son's marriage online? You didn't bother to text me or call me and did everything without my consent and awareness! If I had remained silent, you wouldn't have bothered to call me until I do so!."
He threw the cigarette into the ashtray, "Sorry mom," he sat on the chair, "I have been busy lately."
"I want to see that girl. Bring her this weekend."
"It's not posibble. Maris will be there. I don't want to see him.
Bridget was muted for a while by his blunt reply. She was aware of the conflict between the two brothers.
"I don't care. Bring her home this weekend or don't even bother to come for my funeral when I die without setting my eyes on her."
She hung the phone up before he could object.
He patiently dropped his phone on the desk.
He prayed his mother would like Sabrina, and also prayed for Sabrina to be able bear his mother's overbearing, sassy attitude.
He wasn't worried about Sabrina's satatus. His mother wasn't one who judged people based on their status.
And… he knew it was Emily who told his mother about his marriage.
She was really getting on his nerves.

Gina rushed home to dress herself up sexily before rushing over to Lexos' company with her phone, which has an evidence she took today; picture of Sabrina and Jason together.
From the angle of the way the picture was taken, it could easily be misunderstood that they seemed to be kissing.
If she successfully in showing the picture to Lexos, she was certain he wouldn't take it lightly with his wife that was cheating behind his back with her ex-fiancé and might even divorce.
A smugggish look appeared on her face, her body giddy with excitement.
She didn't care about what Lexos would do to Jason regarding the picture.
If her plan went well, she might try to catch Lexis' attention.
She would impress him and make him fall for her; she would seduce him.
She was taken aback by the beautiful huge building before her.
Jealousy boiled inside of her as she realised Sabrina married the man that owned all these.
She must be very happy and satisfied that she married a rich, handsome man, like Lexis Woodsman.
But her happiness wouldn't last long. Gina would make sure of that.
She couldn't allow it.
Walking up towards a woman Gina believed to be the receiptionist, she flashed a smile at her, "Hey."
"Hello there. How may I help you?." The woman glanced at the breasts that seemed to nearly spill due to the tight short dress Gina was wearing. Her makeup was heavy, so heavy she seemed to be like those hookers who would come in the pretense of having business relationship with their CEO.
"Uhm…I want to see your CEO, Lexis."
The woman's expression turned a bit hostile as her view of Gina was proven right.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think you have any meeting with him, do you?."
Gina gave a tight smile, "Well…as you can see, it's a really urgent matter, and he needs to know about it."
"Does he know of your arrival?."
"No—."
"What relationship do you have with him?."
The woman cut her up rudely.
Gina could only hold her frustration in anger. It was clear the receiptionist termed her as a hooker, it was obvious in the disdainful look on her face.
She sure would make the woman loose her job if her plan in bewitching Lexis would work out.
With bitterness, she said something she had always hated to accept, "He's…he's my brother-in-law."
The disgust in the woman's eyes deepened the more at how shameless Gina was. She was a woman, so she could tell Gina had come to seduce her sister's husband.
If not, how could she dress like this to see him? Her brother-in-law?
She was shameless.
"I'm sorry, but Mr Woodsman is very busy at the moment. I'd suggest you call or text him about the urgent matter. "
Gina tightened her hold on her phone. It was vivid the woman was looking down on her.
She was about to retort when she heard some steady footsteps begging her.
Looking back, her eyes first landed on a pair of black, shiny leather shoes, before they made their way the man…

She nearly fainted. His shoulder length hair was packed in a low pony tail, with few strands that tumbled down in the front. His sharp gaze trained on where he was heading to.
He was a demigod, she thought. A demigod that would soon belong to her.
Why didn't she notice his outwardly beautiful features? Could it be because the first time she saw him, he was dressed in a tattered shirt?
"Lexis!." She screamed before she could hold herself, and raced to him. She nearly reached for his hand, but sensing the chilly stare he was shooting at her, she withdrew back immediately.

What was wrong with her? She needed to act cool.
"Mr Woodsman, I have something important to show you."
"Who are you?." Lexus took a few steps away from her, his face displeased.
Who was this crazily dressed woman in his company?
Gina tried not to tremble when she saw the look of disgust in his eyes.
It was the first time for a man—atleast not in front of her—give her such a look.
Like she was some worthless dirty trash.
"I'm…I'm your sister-in-law. I'm Sabrina's sister, Gina Wonders."
"Oh," Lexis' eyes lit up in realisation, which made Gina to nearly sighed in relief when he said, "you were the brazen woman that slept with her brother-in-law in the clip?."
Her face fell at his words.

Lexis glanced at her, "Sabrina didn't tell me she has a sister."
He knew the woman standing before him was the step sister of Sabrina, who was the daughter of Zachary and Fiona Wonders, Gina Wonders.
