Desperate to catch a glimpse of Killian, Elena continued going after him, even though she didn't know where he had gone. She just allowed her legs to lead her through different familiar wings until she got to a hallway that seemed too quiet and unfamiliar.
Unlike every other place, the hallway seemed abandoned. It was as if no one had walked through it in ages. The cobwebs on the wall and dust on the floor were clear proof. With so many warriors and omegas, why wasn't the place clean? Why was it left abandoned?
