Henry's pov.
Every nerve in my body is screaming to hold her to comfort her. I know she is still on edge being called back and hearing the terror in her voice felt like a knife thru my soul. It's not helping that I can smell her pain. Her pain is the first that has ever made me feel sick and angry.
" how do you cope with her nightmares and pain. It has me feeling sick I need to find a way to fix it soon." I ask Typsy once she finishes eating.
" it's not easy reliving that night every night. That bastared every time he would come over he wouldn't come in until I was locked out. I think that's why he never claimed her so I can't reveal myself to her. The fucking council and their rules." she tells me
" how did you end up like this anyway with her " I ask.
" my pack was attacked by rogues when I was a child my mother ran with me but died I was injured and stuck in this form for a while I was found healed physically but stuck as they were humans. They found me a home with Ivy we were both lonely kids I'm a few years older than her but she is my master my sister my everything. " she tells me looking out of the window towards the green house.
" what about your pack and your father " I ask.
" they found me after a few years and fixed my shift but I didn't want to leave her more like I couldn't my heart is her as you can imagine they were pissed" she chuckles.
" what will you do if you meet your mate make him stay in his form to" I chuckle at the thought.
" in truth I was happy when she first met the fucka I thought if he claimed her I could be free to tell her and find a mate but how wrong I was. I won't find a mate not until I can't be with her anymore. Then I will try and get her under the protection of the pack I join. I've heard that there is one not far from here so I will need to present myself to him so will you guys. Shit will hit the fan if we don't as they already know we are here thanks to the council. " she advised me.
" yeah I will need to check in with the local lord as well. You do know that Blake and Jax are alpha wolfs as well. " I warn her.
" they have no power over me this is my territory well my masters territory she is the alpha here and no one will take that power from her again " she growls at me. I instinctively raise my hands and back away.
" you are right she is the only alpha in this house and I will make sure they know it. Dan wouldn't let them near if he thought they would go against her and you. He would sooner skin them and make you a rug from them than hurt her." I tell her the truth.
" yeah he likes her a lot always going above and beyond for her since the day he met her. He would pop by in the middle of the night just to put a sleep spell on her every chance he got. She still thinks it's because she is to exhausted that she just passes out hehe " she chuckles.
" there here you better shift back before go keep an eye on her while I let them know what the story is. I will bring them through to her " tell her.
" you may want to bring more coffee she does not do well on mornings at least 3 more this morning then switch to herbal tea with honey in the afternoon and cake not biscuits they are for coffee okay " she says shifting between her human form to her hell hound form.
I wounder if the hound and wolfs will get along for her sake I hope they do. I am not looking forward to meeting the local Alphas and Lord. I head out the front to wait for them they are probably grumpy after getting the call to come early. They were away seeing their pack it's a shame that they have to live away from it but their alpha feels threatened by having them there all the time. I would have thought it would be better more muscle to protect the pack but hey what would a vampire know about wolfs.
" Henry nice to see you again so soon" Jax grumbles.
" less of the attitude please. Did Dan fill you in on why we are here earlier." I ask him raising a eyebrow at him.
" yeah sorry..." he huffs.
" okay and you do know she has a pet hell hound and that she is the alpha of it" I ask him.
" a hell hound bowing to a human" he asks shocked.
" yes that human is the Alpha here no one else and she has already been through worse than anything you have been." I tell them.
" does she even know that she is an Alpha" Blake asks me.
" no she is an unclaimed human at the moment" I inform them.
" yet" Blake asks tilting his head looking at me.
" yet it may or may not happen who knows. Let's go introduce you to your temporary Alpha shall we" I say walking back into the house.
Nope I am not going to have that conversation with them or anyone nope just nope not gonna go there.
" leave your bags here you can sort it out once you have met her. There are plenty of rooms to choose from mine is locked and the master bedroom has a boggy door and the one next to that will be Dan's when he gets here." I mutter
" how long do you think it will be until he comes here " Blake asks.
" I don't know how long it will take to find this target but I hope he finds him soon and make sure he dies the most painful way possible " I growl out feeding my fangs aching.
" okay I was just asking " Blake raised his hands in surrender.
I turn away trying to calm myself down as we make our way into the greenhouse. I spot them stiffen as they sniff the air a low growl coming from there chests I can tell their trying to suppress it.
" don't let her see or hear this behaviour she will freak out badly after what he did to her" I warn them with a glare.
Typsy growls at us making Ivy jump.
" it's just me Miss Ivy" I say quickly.
" Typsy on yours please let the new guys be" she tells her she gives one last warning growl then lays by her feet.
" cheeky miss" she chuckles
I struggle to hold onto my laughter.
" please come take a seat" she tells us.
