Ivy's pov.
" Miss Ivy you should wake up now you shouldn't sleep in the library" Henry tells me.
I try to get up off the desk must have fallen asleep writing again damn it.
" sorry I was just resting my eyes staring at the white screen hurts my eyes after a few hours it was supposed to be just a few minutes" I tell him rubbing my eyes.
" I can change that to dark mode for you if you want" he tells me
" there's a dark mode" I ask confused how didn't I know about this.
" sure let me have a look" he says flipping the laptop. He starts tapping away as I get rid of the fog in my head got a decent headache coming on. I put my hand over my eyes hiding from the light.
" all done so the next time you want to write it will be with a darker background less chance of a migraine. Now let's get you fed and your medication. Then after that you're PT before either a swim or a bath before bed I'd say." he tells me making me groan.
" what type of PT do you have a copy of my file yet" I ask him.
" not yet but for today it will be just stretch your muscles and some yoga. I need to see how your body moves and what doesn't want to move." he tells me
" do I have to I was supposed to be having a few days off" I huff as I make my way for dinner.
" yupp" he says popping the p making me roll my eyes he is going to be one of those guys.
" what is for dinner" I ask defeated
" mushroom soup for starters pasta bake with roast pork and lemon meringue pie for dessert. I hope you are okay with it." he tells me
" yeah is everyone eating together" I ask.
" if you want to" he asks
" yeah if everyone wants to join me might as well" I tell him
" great I will go and let them know you make yourself comfortable in the dining room and I will bring everything in" he tells me leaving me at the door.
I go in and take a seat closing my eyes it's to bright in here. I should have asked him to grab something for this migraine. Bam jumps on my lap giving me a heart attack.
" damn it Bam I keep asking you to let me know before you do that" I complain as I stroke him. " do you like your new home"
He purrs loudly at me he was a local stray near my apartment that I used to feed. I decided to ask him if he wanted to come with me. The smart little guy got straight into the carrier no hesitation him and Typsy hated each other when they first met. He would sneak in thru the window and steal food she would go crazy and he would just watch her.
" ah so this is your cat we've been looking for you" Blake says as he sits down with his tray.
" yeah Bam was a stray he has a tendency to disappear and then turn up. I should look at getting him a collar now that he has chosen to stay with me. Would you like that." I ask him his eyes dilate as he looks up at me he mews at me. " I'll take that as a yes "
I smile at him he purrs louder rubbing his face on me.
" animals seem to love you very much what is your secret " he asks me with a chuckle.
" I guess it's kindness, cuddles and lots of food" I chuckle
" on that note here is your dinner and medication I brought you something for your migraine as well" Henry tells me as he sets down my tray.
" thank you this looks great" I say as I look down at the mountain of food still to much. " is Jax joining us"
" yeah he's on his way just washing up. He is the one who chose the tea you will be drinking so please let me know if you like it." he tells me
" okay" I tell him as I take my medication he leaves to get the rest of the trays. Just as Jax enters.
" sorry I'm late" he says taking his seat next to Blake.
" it's fine we haven't been here long" I tell him.
" right let's dig in shall we" Henry says giving Jax his tray and sitting with his own.
Bam jumps down letting me eat in peace we all dig in the soup was perfect not too much cream just the way I like it. A moan slips out as I taste the pasta good god he can cook. I don't think I've ever eaten anything this good before the meat is perfectly cooked. I managed to eat half of what he gave me but I'm regretting eating so much now I don't know if I can do the pie. I sip my tea letting it settle another moan stips out warming and refreshing.
" I don't think I've ever eaten anything as good as this and the tea is perfect" I tell them " I thank you"
" thank you for complement" Henry says stiffly Jax humms nodding
I start on the pie moaning again God's it's been ages since I had this so sweet it makes my mouth water. Once I'm finished I say my thanks and try to get away and hide but fail.
" I will find you in an hour to start your PT" Henry calls out just just as I'm about to excape making me stiffen my shoulder slup as I head off to the living room and I can hear them chucking at me.
