"I don't care! She was going to marry me! If Ryuji wasn't so handsome, she would definitely like me! She wouldn't have been snatched away!" Zenitsu Agatsuma began to act unreasonably.
Ryuji could only smile wryly. Zenitsu was quite self-absorbed! But Zenitsu did have a correct understanding of good looks, acknowledging that Ryuji was handsome.
At this moment, the girl slapped Zenitsu across the face again, sending him spinning in circles.
"I didn't like you! If you hadn't been lying on the roadside looking like you were about to die, I wouldn't have spoken to you!" the girl stated seriously.
Zenitsu asked in surprise, "Eh? Didn't you talk to me because you liked me and were worried about me?"
"No, absolutely not. I neither like you nor worry about you!" After stating this emphatically and loudly, the girl angrily left.
Her anger stemmed mainly from Zenitsu, and partly from being rejected by Ryuji. Of course, she wasn't angry at Ryuji himself, but at the fact that she couldn't be with him.
"Wait! Won't you reconsider? I'm a really nice guy, and I'll spoil my wife! Hey!" Zenitsu shouted after her as she walked away, still not giving up.
Watching Zenitsu aggressively sell himself to the girl, like he was hawking goods, Ryuji found it somewhat amusing.
This amusement wasn't mockery but rather a smile at Zenitsu's endearing behavior.
The girl, however, didn't pay Zenitsu any further attention and continued to walk away.
"She's already gone! Find someone else!" Ryuji teased Zenitsu, who still harbored a glimmer of hope.
"Do you think eligible bachelorettes are so easy to find?!"
"Ryuji, I don't care. It's your fault she left! If you had begged a little longer, she definitely would have agreed!"
"Ryuji, you have to find me a wife! I remember you promised me that as long as I don't join the {Hidden} department, you'll introduce Tanjiro's sister to me! Hurry up, hurry up, when are you going to introduce me?"
Zenitsu clung to Ryuji, repeatedly asking him to introduce Nezuko.
Ryuji shook his head helplessly and said, "It's not the right time yet. I'll let you meet tonight!"
"Meet tonight? Why tonight? Are you trying to get us to consummate the marriage early?" Zenitsu's smile became increasingly mischievous.
Tanjiro couldn't stand it anymore and, mimicking Ryuji, gave Zenitsu a sharp rap on the forehead.
"Tanjiro! What was that for?" Zenitsu immediately touched his forehead and asked Tanjiro.
"Your thoughts are too indecent. I won't entrust my sister to you. I'll only entrust my sister to Ryuji!" Tanjiro told Zenitsu.
Despair crossed Zenitsu's face. He begged Tanjiro, "Tanjiro! No! Ryuji already has Girl! Entrusting your sister to him isn't suitable! Entrust her to me, and I'll definitely make your sister happy!"
