"I think, I will be needing time before living together, anyway my office is close to the apartment I bought. So it's very convenient for me too."
Without having any excuse she just said what was in her mind, thinking that it was best and truth too. Although she is going to resign soon but for now to avoid living together it's the best she can think of.
An awkward silence took place inside the car, making her uncomfortable. Zydus looked at her ,now emitting a cold aura, thinking of all her excuses.
"Is that so?" He suddenly smirked at her "but we can't be separated on our wedding night." He said in a mocking tone.
Thinking ,what he said was right too not realising his mockery. She thought 'Living separately at the wedding is inauspicious for the couple. But wouldn't they just using each other? Why thinking of all this.'
And as if understanding her way of thinking by only looking ,he continued; " And this marriage is for life, you can't back down now." Came his stern voice.
" Neither you allowed to have any other thoughts nor allowed to have any other man in your life. Cheating is prohibited in this realtionship." He hold her chin making her look at his eyes.
The madness, compassion and affection all surging in his deep grey eyes. Lalith was shocked to see the emotions in those emotionless eyes for the first time. An strange emotion emerged in her heart.
Nodding her head, while looking into his eyes she said in daze not feeling the pain because of the his harsh griping .
"And we are going at my place."
"Okay, Mr Prince."
"Hmmmmm?" he raised eyes eyes at her.
"I - I mean Mr Zydus." Suddenly returning into the situation she said hastily. " wait..you're not allowed to cheat too." Realising that she was being surpressed by him, she also made her stance clear.
Zydus's tight grip on her chin loosened at her innocent tone.
"This is not possible by my side, because I don't have an ex- fiancé to worry."he said again mockingly ,releasing her chin and looking at front as if not noticing her anger at the mention of fiancé .
"You...." Lalith wanted to argue but thinking about her so called ex- fiance she choose to stay silent.
Zydus's change of topic made her forget about what place they were going to stay tonight and what were they going to do.
Zydus looked at her frowning expressions with a rare smile but his features hardened at the thought of her thinking about another man.
Suddenly, Closing the distance between them he hooked her neck by his one hand and his other hand groped her both palm at her back, then a rushed kiss fell upon her lips.
Lalith who was still thinking about her future plans of revenge, frozed but the harshness of the kiss made her moaned in pain.
Zydus stopped at her provocative voice mixed with pain while their head still in touch. Pantings of breath can be heard clearly from the back of the car.
Lalith whose lips were torn because of brutal kiss tasted the blood in her mouth. Zydus also saw the blood on the side of her lips.
"I told you not to think about the other man." He voice mixed with allure sounded above her.
Lalith who was still panting because of the kiss, now looked up at his face angrily while trying to free herself.
"You…. Let go of me. Who gave you the permission to kiss me.?" She questioned him angrily.
"For yesterday, you by yourself and for today, the... marriage certificate we just obtained." He replied with a smirk.
"Are you angry? Because I punished you for thinking any other man."he only loosened his grip at her palm.
Lalith who was still thinking about the kiss in anger, remembered about the marriage certificate and then her ex.
Closing her eyes she calmed herself down then again looked up and gestured to let her go. Zydus not sensing any anger and cold vibe from her, let her go.
Lalith who was looking calmed suddenly grabbed his hands and bite it down . He folded his shirts to his elbow so theeth marks are completely visible.
Zydus who was watching her biting him, gazed at her lovingly wanting to caress her head lift his other hand.
Lalith was startled thinking that he was going to slap, closed her eyes. Only to found him caressing with doting smile.
"Happy now?" He asked.
Mesmerised by his soft and extremely rare smile, she felt guilty and looked down at her art work on his hand.
"It was you who started first." She said in a low voice as if convincing herself.
"I know, so we are even now? And you are not going to think about him anymore?" He said more like asking her.
He too was feeling guilty after seeing the blood on her lips. So he let her vent her anger first before saying anything.
Lalith nodded, gathering her words to reply she just opened her lips when, the car stopped. Thinking that the destination arrived she turned to open the window when Zydus pressed her down and looked outside varily.
"BANG"
The gun sounded from outside.
