After their meeting the party explains to Erin about a quest they have taken on.
"We recently picked up a quest to explore the dungeon located in the northern forest area. The area around the dungeon is fairly barren with the strongest monsters being around E Rank but inside the dungeon we will find monsters reaching B Rank on the first ten floors and after that reaching A Rank and rarely S Rank, so we need to be on our guard." Ike explains to Erin.
They quickly head out to the dungeons entrance, on their way Erin recognises the place as where he fought the giant blue slime.
"Strange. We haven't encountered a single slime and the guardian of the dungeon hasn't appeared, that giant slime should be here somewhere." Gary says confused.
Erin becomes worried, as he says "Oh... Umm... I was here yesterday and killed over 100 slimes and a giant slime too. I'm sorry!"
They all laugh. "Don't stress it isn't a bad thing just was surprised nothing was here that is all, but if you can do all that I don't think we have anything to worry about going into the dungeon." Ike explains patting Erin on the back.
They enter the dungeon prepared to fight, Gary in the front, Ike at the very back with Min and Erin in the middle.
It doesn't take long of walking through the cave systems, Min using her magic to light up the surroundings, before a group of four goblins charge for them.
Everyone draws their weapons and prepares to fight, but before the goblins make it to them to start combat their bodies are engulphed in flames instantly turning their bodies into ashes. Leaving nothing behind but a few daggers.
In shock everyone looks towards Erin, "What was that? I didn't even see a magic circle or an incantation?" Min asks confused.
"When I learned the S Rank skill for fire magic I was able to do prepare incantations and release the spells later at will. It does cost more mana though but that's not a problem it only cost about 10000 mana for that spell." Erin explain nonchalantly.
"10000 mana! On three goblins?! That's my entire pool of mana and I'm nearly level 50." Min says is extreme shock.
"Well it was only about 5% of my total mana pool and I've already recovered that amount of mana anyway so don't stress." Erin says as he starts walking further into the dungeon.
As they continue through the floors of Goblins and slimes, occasionally some giant slimes and hobgoblins, Erin wipes out everything in their path the others not lifting a single finger. Erin collects all of the slime cores along the way.
"I Can't believe how strong he is, he has only displayed his fire magic skill but compared to any of our skills its nothing. Goes to show how strong S Rank skills are." Ike says standing at the back of the group.
They arrive at the fifth floor boss room, everyone draws their weapons before slowly opening the boss doors and entering.
The room instantly lights up as Min casts a light area spell. As their vision improves they see a King Blue slime that's three times the size of a giant slime and is a C Rank magic casting monster. Before they could even react a huge magic circle forms over head covering the whole room, Erin then looks at min and yells "Make a barrier as strong as you can around us."
Min quickly makes a barrier using a huge magic circle made of light. As the barrier finishes forming a rain of fire falls from the sky as explosions and death cover the area. After a minute of this Min collapses on the ground after using all her mana, and the battle field is full of dead slimes and the boss is also lying there dead. In a blink of an eye Erin collects all of the loot before saying with a grin "I'll distribute everything after the dungeon, don't worry."
He moves forward to the next floor, his party following close behind confused but willing to continue.
The sixth floor is much stronger than the last with insect like creatures littering the area, most are worker ants. Everything in their way is easily taken out by Erin.
On floor nine all of the monsters started becoming stronger almost instantly. Most being C Rank and a few B Rank monsters, making Erin use more mana, more spells and stronger fire spells too, in some cases monsters barely survived the first attack and Ike swiftly took them out. The party was quite happy as they now could play a roll in the dungeon. On floor ten he feels something in his head, after thinking about it he sees its some information about Arnold, it reads "Master's level has reached a certain level. Tamed monster has taken on traits from you."
He quickly focuses on Arnold's stats,

Erin looks shocked as Arnold's mana went up by 500, his skills Language understanding and Recovery increased in rank by a few ranks and he learned how to use fire magic. Erin decides to let Arnold help in the dungeon to let him gain some levels.
"Hey guys! do you mind if I let my pet help in some battles?" Erin asks with a smile.
Everyone replied with "Yeah no worries." simultaneously.
Erin lets Arnold out of his shirt surprisingly it made Erin look like he lost heaps of weight as the giant slime climbs out of his shirt. They look surprised by the slime but they are not taken too far back.
They continue through floor ten.
