Karen stared at him for almost 5 minutes straight . After moments of stupid silence , Alex cleared his throat returning Karen to her right state of mind , and she bit her lower lip as she blinked nervously.
"Are you going to serve me a cold food?."he voiced out and she nodded negatively before going to drop his food on his study table .
"Open it ." he instructed and she did .
"Take a bite ." he continued and she looked up at him in confusion and looked down back. he looked at her sternly , like he was looking through her and she fiddled with her fingers nervously.
What is wrong with him ? Why is he staring that way ? Gosh , he's so annoying . she thought.
After moment of abrupt silence Alex to a step forward and she took a step back , he took a step forward again and she stepped back also till her back met with the table then she looked over his shoulder. He stared at her more intently and she looked at him in the eye and avert her gaze again when she wasn't able to maintain the hot eye contact .
" did you have a problem with hearing?. " he asked and she looked up at him then back to her interlocked fingers and bit her lower lip again making him smirk sarcastically . he leaned in and whispered into her ear and she shivered by the vibration of his voice and the breeze his nose blew on her skin.
" leave ." he said and walked into his closet . she looked at his retreating figure then back to the food on the table before turning away and cursing him inwardly .

Stefan just emerged from the bathroom and he's ready to go to bed . the week had been so hectic plus today also, so the refreshing shower and sleep is all he needed , just then his phone ringed from the dressing table and he went to pick it . it was a call from Adriana , he raised his brow in confusion before swiping green .
"Hello?."
"Hello, pls are you Adriana's friend ?."
"Not really , but what's wrong?."
" I'm her friend so we went to the bar together and now she's drunk ."
"What does that have to do with me ?."
"I need you to come take her home ."
"And what are you doing as her friend ?."
"I gotta leave now , I have something important to do , plus she's not going with me and she's drunk I can't carry her ."
"Find someone else ." he replied plainly and terminated the call .

Stefan was already in bed and about drifting off to sleep when his phone ringed again . it is Adriana again . he ignored it and slept back . what exactly does she want from me?he hissed . then she called again but he ignored it again and she kept on calling till he angrily switched off his phone .

Clara sneaked out of the bar to go meet someone outside. The person was dressed in all black making it difficult to identify . she took him to a secluded section of the compound .
"How far is the deal ?" She started
"I'm freaking tired of this place , can't stand the dirty from this place ."she continued
" you gotta calm down , boss is drafting a new plan and in no time everything will be set ."
"Show me the details ." she requested and he brought a tab from his small black bag crouched over his back .
She grinned devilishly after seeing the details . then he whispered into her ears making her grin wider . she dismissed him and went back to the bar like nothing happened .
