The incessant rainfall produced a deafening sound as raindrops descended from the heavens, striking the ground with force. Even the trees swayed in response to the storm's fury. The thunder roared, echoing through the afternoon. Daisuke felt a sense of weakness, and his companions swiftly assisted him into bed. Ayu positioned herself on the left side, carrying him, while Fuuto stood on the right. Despite his frailty, Daisuke managed to hold onto the towel's bottom as he struggled to walk while they guided him. As they settled him into bed, Aunt Yumi swiftly made her way to my closet, determined to find something that would provide Daisuke with a sense of comfort and tranquility during his sleep. She was particularly concerned about the weight of his clothing and the sensation of a heavy shirt.
As Daisuke settled into bed, Aunt Yumi placed his clothes on the side of the bed. She turned back to look at Daisuke, who was sitting alone, his eyes fixed on the floor. He waved his head from side to side, indicating that he did not need anything.
"Hey, kiddo, do you need anything else?" Aunt Yumi asked, smiling at me.
"Okay, Daisuke, I'll leave you alone but If you need anything, shout out my name," Yumi said, standing outside the door as she was about to close it.
Daisuke remained silent, his eyes still devoid of emotion. Aunt Yumi closed the door, and they stood there, locked in a gaze.
"I presume you are Ayu?" Aunt Yumi inquired with a smile.
"Huh, oh yeah, I'm Ayu Takahashi. Nice to meet you," Ayu felt shy to engage in conversation with Aunt Yumi, as she bowed her head in a gesture of respect.
"It is also a pleasure to meet you, Daisuke have consistently spoken highly of me and expressed your admiration for my qualities. You were delighted to have me in your life," Aunt Yumi remarked.
"Oh, he did," Ayu blushed, feeling embarrassed. As Ayu was captivated by the thunder, the rain persisted. Ayu instinctively recoiled in fear.
"Eeek!"
"I anticipate precipitation throughout the day. You two should remain indoors for a brief period, inform your parents of your whereabouts, or arrange for your pickup," Aunt Yumi advised Ayu and Fuuto.
"Indeed, I intended to contact Pearly regarding this matter," Fuuto stated.
"And how's your parents doing, Fuuto?" Aunt Yumi inquired, already acquainted with Fuuto and his parents.
"My father is doing well as always, and my mother, while she is generally pleasant, can occasionally be somewhat irritating," Fuuto remarked, scratching his head as he recalled the occasional annoyance his mother could cause.
"I observe that she remains unchanged," Aunt Yumi remarked.
"Regrettably," Fuuto concurred.
"Please inform your parents, Ayu. I will contact Ren to ascertain her condition due to the adverse weather conditions. If desired, we can proceed to the living room where I will prepare tea."
As Aunt Yumi turns around to retrieve her phone from her pocket and descend the stairs to the kitchen, Ayu and Fuuto follow her closely, As Ayu makes her way to the living room, she calls her mother, informing her of her location and explains the circumstances that led her to Daisuke's residence. She expressed her concern about staying there due to the inclement weather, and her mother concurred, stating that it was the most suitable option for Ayu to avoid catching a cold.
Ayu and Fuuto settled on the sofa in the living room as Aunt Yumi prepared tea in the kitchen. She called Ren, and the conversation appeared to be cordial. Ren was on her way home and was nearing her destination. She had estimated that she would arrive in fifteen minutes.
In contrast, Ayu remained composed and thoughtful, recalling the events that transpired earlier that day before returning home. She was reminded of the incident that occurred in the bathroom of Daisuke's house, which had taken place while they were in front of Daisuke's residence.
As they were walking towards Daisuke's residence, they noticed Aunt Yumi approaching, seemingly eager to retrieve her key from her purse. Suddenly, Fuuto waved at Aunt Yumi. Ayu, feeling somewhat shy, acknowledged that it was her first time meeting Aunt Yumi, a fact that Daisuke occasionally mentioned.
Aunt Yumi expressed her delight at seeing Fuuto and paused to observe them. She inquired, "Oh, who is this beautiful girl? Is she your girlfriend, Fuuto?" Her playful demeanor and teasing remarks caught Ayu off guard.
Ayu clarified, "Yes, she is a beautiful girl, but fortunately, this is Ayu Takahashi, Daisuke's girlfriend."
Aunt Yumi was visibly shocked, expressing her disbelief at the revelation of Ayu's appearance as Daisuke's girlfriend.
As Ayu was about to introduce herself further, Daisuke suddenly exclaimed, We looked up at the window of the house,

And Aunt Yumi swiftly retrieved the key, unlocking the door. We proceeded directly to the second floor, as they were highly concerned about the source of Daisuke's screams, which emanated from the second-floor bathroom.
The individuals rushed to the second floor, as that was the location from which The Shouted Nobodies originated. Ayu was the first to swiftly proceed to the restroom, followed closely by Fuuto and even Aunt Yumi. Upon reaching the second floor and searching for the restroom, Ayu inquired, "Where is the restroom?"
Aunt Yumi responded, "It is located on your right, first door."
Ayu promptly rushed to the restroom door and attempted to open it, striking the door with some force.
"Daisuke it's me Ayu, What's wrong? Open the door"
"STOOOOOOOOOP" Daisuke was shouting.
"Allow me to retrieve my key to manipulate the switch lock," Aunt Yumi stated. She positioned her key along the lock's line, inserted it, and unlocked the switch. With the door unlocked, Ayu entered first and swiftly proceeded to Daisuke. She observed Daisuke, visibly trembling and apprehensive. He covered his ears and kept his eyes closed.
"Daisuke it's me, Ayu" Ayu was filled with worry, and suddenly, Daisuke's eyes snapped open. As the events unfolded, Daisuke let out a cry of fear or tears, causing Ayu to become visibly concerned. The thunder's loud roar startled Ayu, and she rushed back as she was remembering recalling the earlier incident and being startled by the thunder.
"Eeek" Ayu covers her ears as she closes her eyes, momentarily frightened by the thunder. Fuuto looks at Ayu, curious and concerned.
"Are you?… scared of thunders?" Fuuto was engaging in an unprofessional manner by ridiculing Ayu.
"Certainly not! Why would I do that?" At that moment, she was interrupted by the thunder.
"Eeek!" As Ayu continued to cover her ears and tremble in fear, Fuuto's demeanor softened, and he felt remorseful for her distress. He retrieved his Sony headphones and examined the Bluetooth options. He then selected the "cancel headphones" setting and gently placed a covered blanket over Ayu's ears. Finally, he placed the headphones on her ears.
Initially confused, Ayu's expression changed as Fuuto began pressing his phone's screen to play a soothing piano melody. The music instantly calmed her fear, and she felt a sense of comfort and relaxation. She settled into her seat, fully absorbed in the soothing sounds.
Despite the recurrence of thunder, Ayu could barely perceive the sound, which was not overly loud. She looked at Fuuto with a smile, sensing his genuine concern and empathy.
"Thanks, Fuuto"
"You are welcome." As Fuuto continued reading his light novel, a smile graced his face as the rain persisted.
