Isabelle got out of the house after her little conversation with the kind old man that took care of her, she wished she could have waited for the son, but she relayed her gratitude to his
father. Her younger sister had called over more than twenty times, same with her best friend and her dad. Jeez, she was just away for one night, it's not even up to twenty-four hours.
"Hey Sophie" she said on the call with her best friend.
"No Sophie, I'm not fine" she said, tearing up.
"But at the same time, I'm fine, I just need you to come pick me"
Isabelle had to walk down a bit to meet up with her friend because Dominic's house was way up the hills, a little bit away from the city.
"He tried to rape me and record it" Isabelle burst out crying in her friend's arms.
"Oh my God, what the fuck! What the fuck! That fucking bastard. I'll fucking call the cops on the retard" Sophie shouted, her blood boiling.
"No! No, no" Isabelle pleaded with her as she pulled Sophie's phone away.
"What the hell is wrong with you Isabelle?" Sophie yelled in anger.
"Don't you see? Don't you see my family, Sophie? My Dad's sick! My little sister and brother need to go to school" Isabelle tried explaining but Sophie wasn't having none of that.
"Yeah, and what about you? You're human too! You deserve to live too! You deserve to go to school as well. Fuck! Isabelle, you deserve good health as well. What the fuck?"
Isabelle couldn't control her tears anymore, she had always put her family first and carried the family through ever since her mom left them when her dad got sick.
"You're human too Isabelle" Sophie said as she comforted her friend, hugging her really tight.
"C'mon hey. Let's go get some food, get you cleaned up, then we'll take you home, okay?"
"Okay" Isabelle said through her tears.
"I love you Sophie " she said, hugging her friend.
"You'll always have me. I'll always be here for you"
Sophia drove to get food from their favorite spot and then they drove to her place. Isabelle had already called her family, she lied she worked overnight. She cleaned up at Sophie's before
heading home. A couple of weeks after, Sophie and Isabelle were hanging out at Isabelle's, and she kept getting buzz calls from Ryan.
"You will not be going to that place ever again in the name of work," Sophie said.
"Agreed. I'll have to look for a job elsewhere. I've got a little bit of savings that could hold us down for a while"
"I've got a little bit of savings for you too" Sophie said and brought out an envelope and handed it over to her friend.
"Sophie! No way. Sophie, you didn't have to " she said as she got emotional, realizing her friend had been saving for her as well.
"Yes way. And I had to"
"Thank you, Sophia,"
"You're welcome "
"No really, thank you. For everything "
"Hush now" Sophie said, she wasn't the emotional type and didn't like getting all mushy. They were both snacking on some chips when Sophie got a notification.
"No fucking way" she said.
"What is it?" Isabelle asked, concerned.
"This dude I've been talking really invited me to an orgy"
"Well, what do you think? Are you thinking of going?"
"I don't know, what do you say?"
"You'll go with Elijah, I'll go on my own. If I see anything I like at the party, then sure, why not? Besides, I want to taste something new, something different and less painful. Where my will matters"
"Isabelle. We are going to this party. Come on let's pick outfits"
They both got ready for the Party, choosing their outfits to their taste. Sophie wore a Japanese Coldplay outfit, while Isabelle went all summer girlie. Elijah showed up to pick them up and took them to the occasion. They took off their trench coats and had their masks on before getting in.
"Mind if we wait here for a bit? I'm expecting an anonymous friend of mine soon and I need to pick him up " Elijah asked both of them.
"You two stick together, I'll go mingle " Isabelle said and kissed Sophie on the cheek.
"Be safe Hun" Sophie said while she waited with Elijah.
Isabelle wasn't attracted to anything she saw at the party for the first few minutes, and she was getting bored of the desperate hungry wolves that were swarming up to her for a dance. But
then, she saw him from afar.
"Now that is my target " she said to herself and observed his movements for a while. She saw him reject the gay dude and leave that area.
"Well thank God he's not gay" she thought. And she made her move, and it went even better than she imagined it would. She didn't want to leave but Sophie had texted her it was time to go, and she had to kiss her prince charming goodbye.
Aside from that, she was just here for fun, she wasn't done healing from the trauma of Ryan and wasn't ready for another.
"Sophie, he pinned my waist down to the bed and he fucked me so good" she said, laying so much emphasis on the good.
"Did you get anything from him, address? picture, face card, number? Anything?"
"Nah, nothing like that"
"I would say you need to focus on yourself right now if you asked me" Sophie said, not wanting her friend to fall into the paws and claws of another wild animal.
After applying for different jobs, Isabelle was finally going for an interview at this company Elijah got her hooked up with his influence and connections. She wanted to have breakfast first when a gentleman held the door for her.
"Thank you handsome" she said as fluttered her fingers at him.
Even though she got to the counter and placed her order before Jameel, he was attended to
rather swiftly and she had to wait after him.
She got her order a couple of minutes later and sat down to have it quickly. Once she was done, she took a cab to the company, "Castello"
Isabelle had a long look at the skyscraper in front of her, inhaled deeply and went in. She took the elevator to the floor to which she was directed and was asked to wait. After waiting more than 30 minutes already, Isabelle was losing her patience, but of course, she had to wait. And then she was called into his office, the CEO.
"Hello good Morning"
She said as she walked up to the desk, the boss was having a view of the city from the topmost floor.
"Good morning, Miss" he said, still backing her.
"Oh, you may have your seat of course. I'm just enjoying the view you know" he said when he noticed she was still standing.
"Thank you" she said and took her seat, and he turned around.
Once again, Dominic got weak in the knees and froze for a few seconds.
