Adnan writes something about Shizuka in his diary every night before going to bed. "She said 'how are you' so beautifully today," he says one day. Another day, he notes that she walks like a poem. Adnan may not realize it, but he has already fallen in love. When Shizuka sees Adnan's notes written in Turkish, she asks with a laugh: "Are these all for me?" Adnan blushes. Shizuka just smiles.
