Chapter 11 - I FOUND HIM

Nara's POV

I do not buy the thought of taking Yula to my master, Guyong. He is such a greedy Beta, self-centered and destructive. He only cares about himself. I had always longed to be the best of the wolves, the most powerful — even more powerful than Guyong. I only pretended to love him since he is my master, but in the real sense, I wish I could poison him! He told the world that I was his daughter, but yet he raped me anytime he wanted to send me on an errand, after which he would pass me to Omega Shein and his gay chosen mate. I dare not dig out their heart or even leave a scratch on them. He already held enough in his dark hell prison that stinks like a trash gutter! I needed this one for myself.

"Well, I have no business with torturing you, only because your clan killed a member of my master's pack…" I said with the look of a clown on my face.

"My master hasn't even found out up till now!" I snapped.

Yula was struggling to lose herself from the iron chair that I tied her to.

"I brought you here for a business deal!" I dragged off the duct tape that I used to seal her mouth to prevent her from talking or screaming. As I scraped it off, some of the vellus hairs around her mouth stuck on the tape. She moaned painfully, spitting on my face.

"I can never have a deal with the devil herself!" she said with savagery as I slit her face abruptly.

A cold, stern look sat on her face. I knew Jiah must have fed her clan members with a lion's heart, except for that pig-headed Sungmin. He was nothing but a dead rat amid lions.

"Get me into Hayan's head. Let me have a feel of what the future holds," I said, but she didn't respond.

"I said, take me into the head of Hayan. She knows what the future holds!" I yelled at her again as I was already losing it.

She spat again on my face, and I cut through her flesh mercilessly. I was being careful not to kill her because I knew she was not a wolf. She soon began to cough out blood.

"If you don't take me in, I will tear you into shreds and dump the pieces of your corpse for your dear leader," I said, trying to maintain my cool.

She closed her eyes tightly as if forcing her way into the future, but she suddenly stopped, claiming not to have access to the future.

Jiah's POV

I knew I had less than three hours, from what my instincts told me, and yet I had gotten no traces of him. I sat hopelessly on a large stone. I wasn't bothered about where I sat until it dawned on me to look at the stone. It had weird holes in it. I seeped my fingers into one of the holes, but I got nothing. It was just a vacuum. I jolted to my feet and continued as my instinct led me, and soon I came in front of a thatched hut.

I needed some water. I was running out of strength. As I entered the house, I saw a dead lizard lying close to an old radio. It was a normal thing since the entrance of the house was only covered with leaves and tree branches.

A young, beautiful girl came out of somewhere I didn't notice.

"Hello, Jiah!" she said to me. That was when I became cold.

"How did you know my name?" I asked eagerly.

"I know you! I know Donghan, and I know Juanito."

What! She just called my mother's name. My eyes dimmed as I scrutinized her thoroughly.

"Who are you?" I asked as I tried to connect with her, but couldn't.

"That doesn't matter right now. Take this mini-map. It has the roadmap to the magical cave where your clan member, Yangmu, is held captive. You cannot break the spell if you are not a witch. That is why I will help you. A stronger witch held him captive for over seven years in the magical spell until destiny's time. And it has been written," she said, making a sign on her palm as if writing something, but there was no book or pen in her hands.

She walked close to an old shelf, picking her steps carefully as she continued speaking.

"It's been written that you will set him free on your own without any member of your clan, and that is why you are here alone."

She drew out an old book that was covered in dust, coughing carefully as if trying not to break or tear something in her throat. She shook off the dust.

"Tomorrow Is Not Yours." the book read. I have seen something like this before, I said in my mind.

"This is what you must do to break the spell. Connect with your clan member — I mean the boy in the magical spell. Agree after you have connected to your spirits, and the spell will be broken. As you break the spell, I will be enchanting with the witches on your behalf. You need to hurry and leave! Time is not on your side," she said.

I carefully followed the path on the map in my hands as I came closer to my destination. I observed my body transforming by itself. This was beyond my control. I totally transformed into a wolf as I drew closer to a cave. My eyes turned a darker shade of silver.

Was it time for me to connect? I thought to myself. But I do not think so because I cannot see him yet!

Just as I was deep in my thoughts, I saw him floating in the bubble-like magical spell. It is suspended in the air. I fought to connect with him, but it was so difficult. Inside the spell, he was doing the same — trying to connect.

I groaned painfully when my claws started forcing themselves out more. I began to cut myself, trying to endure the pain as I fought to connect to him. I groaned again even harder, then I felt Yula's connection.

No — it would be dangerous to connect with Yula now. I would be exposing her to a lot of danger.

"No!" I yelled again into the air — my feet turning into the feet of a large vulture. I couldn't help but cry out my eyes. I felt like ripping the throat of anything or anyone.

Finally, I disconnected from Yula. The boy in the spell screamed heavily, and the bubble-like spell shattered like an exploding TV. I bent over to protect my human self from getting hurt. I had transformed automatically when the boy yelled.

Kangdae's POV

I haven't seen or heard from my son all through the two weeks that I was admitted to the hospital, apart from the first day he came to check up on me. I hope Guyong has not killed him. I don't think I will heal faster because my son is dead and gone, and soon my daughter will be dead too. What did I ever gain? I felt a sudden change of mood from within — a living man is better than a dead one. I should get a woman soon. A woman who would bear me a son without Guyong finding out. I know that beast doesn't say what he cannot do. I put a call through to Secretary Soyoung.

"Come over to the house," I said over the phone.

I am sure she would be wondering if everything was alright. It was working days and working hours for that matter.

After an hour, she arrived at my place.

"Please sit," I said, offering her a seat.

In a romantic composure, she quietly placed her ass on the couch, closing her lap to fit into the so-called feminine nature of females. I was attracted to that, but I didn't love Soyoung — she wasn't just my taste.

"I know you love me," I started bluntly, not minding to filter my words. "And I appreciate that! But I would love you to invite your friend, huhhhh…," I said, trailing off as I forced my memory to remember her name.

"Maesong!" Soyoung said with a bit of harshness.

"Yes! Maesong. I want to have a word with her," I said as she poured my wine into the glass cup I used in drinking the wine and poured it into her mouth at once. She stood up and sat close to me, just on the armrest of my couch. I had not fully recovered; I didn't have the strength for this.

"I know you prefer me to Maesong! But anytime you need me," she said, placing her hand on her ear. "Call me."

I was about to stand when she pulled me back onto the couch.

"I will see you tomorrow," she said and kissed my cheek.
