All info(for nerds)

Level Tiers:

1.) Junior Trainer: 15-50 Ranges from freshmen all the way to 8 gym badges. Sub categorized by the amount of gym badges. Each badge has roughly a 5 level incriment. Though ace pokemon(of the gym leader) are usually 1-3 levels higher.

Levels Of Badge battle per amount of badges the Junior trainer Owns.

1 badge: level 15

2 badges: level 20

3 badges: level 25

4 badges: level 30

5 badges: level 35

6 badges: level 40

7 badges: level 45

8 badges: level 50

2.) Journeyman trainer: level 50-65, The majority of trainers get to this point eventually. Only those actually hopeless don't reach this level.

3.) Senior Trainer: level 70-75, the 2% percentile. Senior trainers are elligable to become City gym leaders. Only the Talented and/or fortunate ever reach this level.

4.) Elite Trainer: level 80, the 0.5% percentile. Elite trainers are eligible to become Successors to the Regional Gym leaders of the 16 types. They are truly Geniuses with, or without fortune.

5.) Master Trainer: Level 80+, Beating 4 Of the highest ranked Elites earns you this title. You might not be so much stronger than Elite trainers, but you have proven you are a once in a lifetime genius. This requires total mastery of battling, and the peak power of an Elite trainer.

6.) Regional Champion: level 80+, you are truly one of the kind. You have proven to be the strongest of your Region.

How The ladder works:

All trainers start at Freshman College, it is illegal to own a pokemon until then.

A trainer needs to register their first pokemon as their "starter" pokemon and no other pokemon the trainer uses in official battles can be of a higher level. If there is such a case, there must be a valid reason.(There is a Item that can prevent accidental over levels, though ineffective for sudden jumps in level)

This Ban is lifted after the trainer beats their City's Gym leader

This is done so the newer generation can't rely on talented pokemon as starter pokemon are given before the start of Trainer school. The talent of the pokemon given is based on performance in middle school mock battles rather than rankings, the Starter pokemon's Talent range from I to E+

Ladder progression:

1.) Go into trainer school and earn the title "Junior Trainer")

Earn 8 Badges from city gyms(Levels 15-50)(you cannot battle your own city's gym leader, and depending on your badges. The gym leader uses an appropriately leveled team.)(Having 8 badges gives you access to the City Gym Challenge)(note: that 90% of trainers get to this level eventually, the resources and talent required to advance forward is simply too immense)(also only 20% of the population are trainers anyways.)(after this accomplishment, you are granted the title "Journeyman Trainer"). You can earn the 8 badges whenever, even after University and can choose to graduate early if you earn all of them.. though earning 8 is not a graduation requirement

2.) Beat your City Gym(Levels 70-75) (only about 2% of trainers accomplish this. Beating the City Gym at their full power means you are eligible to become one yourself, if there are 100,000 trainers only 2,000 trainers achieve this feat.)( after this accomplishment, you are granted the title "Senior Trainer")

3.) 16 Regional Gyms (Level 80) (only 0.5% of trainers achieve this feat. So of 100,000 trainers, only 500 achieve this level) (earn the title "Elite Trainer") (You are also now elligable to become a Regional Gym leader's successor if you are accepted as one, though it requires you to be a single type specialist.)

4.) 4 Elite gauntlet (Level 80+) (Only single digits have completed this gauntlet. 7 trainers, An Elite trainer must beat the top 4 Elites in the rankings with no losses, using the same 6 pokemon for a 3v3 and 6v6 singles, then a 6v6 and 4v4 doubles each for an Different Elite.) (If you managed to complete the gauntlet, you are now considered a "Master Trainer")(note: the 4 elites team sheets of their teams are given to you first. And you have 2 months of preparation before the gauntlet.

5.) Regional Champion (Level 80+)(a title bestowed to the strongest trainer of a region)

Level 90+(box art legendaries AKA tier-0 pokemon)(There are also some Pokemon that reached this level that are not legendaries..)

How battle works:

All Fights Have a Team preview(shows the 6 pokemon used for the fight and their held items, moves, and abilities) Each pokemon can only use 4 Moves Registered prior to a battle. And the Use of items during a battle is not allowed. A trainer is limited to one use of either a Dynamax/Gigantamax, Z-move,-Mega Evolution, or Terrastalization.

In an official match, there is a coin toss. The winner gets to decide the match's first battles format, singles or doubles. And how many pokemon are used. 6v6 or 3v3 for singles, and 6v6 or 4v4 for doubles. It can be a best of 1, 3,5, or 7. But in Badge challenges its a best of 3, City Gym Challenge. A best of 5, and the 16 Regional gyms. A best of 7, In the next match(if there is one) the loser get to decide the next format.

There are specialized battles where there is only one format used in the whole tournament. Such as Ranked matches for Elite Trainers.

In Gym matches, the Gym Leader always needs to Send their pokemon first before the challenger. And switching manually is not allowed (this is so the Battle is more even since all Gym leaders are always at the higher skill level than the challenger) though this does not apply to the 4 elite gauntlet.

The 4 elite gauntlet:

The 4 formats have rankings, to become a champion level trainer it is needeed for you to be able to beat the top 1 elite trainers (if you are one of the top 1s then the top 2 of your format is included) in a gauntlet. Using the same 6 pokemon fighting each and not losing to any..

The application process is quick, since almost noone gets to this level, the challenger first receives the team sheets of the 4 in the Gauntlet. Then the challenger is given an indefinite ammount of time to construct a team, and they have to send the Team sheet before battling them one by one, When the challenger losses once they have start from zero wins...

Formats:

Singles:

6v6: Standard Singles battle.

3v3: Pick 3 Bring 6 Pokemon (it is not revealed to the opponent which 3 of the 6 you bring to the match)

Doubles:

6v6 Standard doubles format

4v4 Pick 4 Bring 6 Pokemon(it is not revealed to the opponent which 3 of the 6 you bring to the match)

Pokemon Talents:

All Pokemon Can Reach Level 100(eventually) though they are limited by lifespan... So the talent system is the about level up speed multipliers. They are Seperated into two: Level boost Multiplier, and Level boost cap. All Pokemon can realistically reach level 50 despite their Level boost cap before their natural deaths. With the right training its not that uncommon to go way beyond the limits. F+ Pokemon can have the potencial to get to level 60.The higher the level, the longer the lifespan, and upon reaching level 90. A pokemon gains longevity(infinite lifespan)

Their letter Grade Determines their potencial.
