Chapter 6: A Magical Night
The days turned into weeks, and our relationship continued to blossom. One evening, I planned a surprise for Marie. I took her to a spot overlooking the city, where the sky was painted with hues of pink and orange as the sun set.
We stood side by side, taking in the breathtaking view. I could feel her hand brushing against mine, and I knew I had to hold it. I gently reached out and intertwined my fingers with hers. She didn't pull away; instead, she squeezed my hand gently.

As we stood there, the wind picked up, and Marie shivered. I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her close to warm her up. She leaned into me, and I felt her heartbeat against my chest.

As the night wore on, we sat down on a blanket, still holding hands. We talked some more, and I realized that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. The thought scared me, but it also excited me.
