Chapter 30 - 30

He groggily looked at his wrist, feeling that the hand holding it seemed familiar. He blinked and looked up in disbelief, only to see the person he had been thinking about standing right in front of him.

Immediately, his lips pursed, and his eyes started to redden. "Wife, where have you been?"

Before Niley could respond, Mier stood up and pulled her into a tight embrace.

This was the first time Niley felt her husband take the initiative, and she felt a sense of joy in her heart. She gently patted Mier's back. "I've actually been in this room the whole time, but you couldn't see me."

Upon hearing this, Mier, who had been crying, felt a little guilty.

He had spent the entire day worrying about his wife, and it seemed that he had said a lot of things he shouldn't have to his brothers.

Thinking about it, he looked up at Niley with a guilty expression and cautiously asked, "So, can you hear us when we talk? We were worried you had gone somewhere else, and we searched for you for a long time."

"You went to look for me?" Niley was surprised and warmed by their actions. Looking at Mier, she sighed. "I couldn't hear you. I was still recovering, otherwise, if I had known you were so worried about me, I would have appeared earlier."

She bent down and gently wiped away the tears at the corner of Mier's eyes.

But no matter how much she wiped, the tears didn't stop, and the person in her arms continued to hold her waist, looking both scared and extremely wronged.

She let out a soft laugh. "Aren't you afraid of me?"

When her powers were nearly exhausted, she had used her wood-based ability and finally gathered the last bit of energy to enter her space, disappearing right in front of Mier. She thought he would be terrified.

But Mier just shook his head lightly. Niley's sudden disappearance made him realize his true feelings.

He truly saw Niley as his lifeline, but in these few short days, the warmth he had felt from her surpassed all the affection he had felt in the previous nineteen years of his life.

Before, he had been trying to convince himself not to fall for her, but hadn't he already fallen for her?

Regardless, he accepted it.

"Rather than being afraid, I'm more worried that I'll never see you again."

Niley froze, her heart skipping a beat.

She looked at Mier seriously. "Do you know what you're saying?"

"I do. I like you, wife. I like you, Niley."

As soon as he finished speaking, his lips were captured.

After the kiss, Niley picked him up and, kneeling on one leg, carefully laid him down on the bed.

In the candlelight, Mier's flushed face was clearly visible. His eyes trembled as his long, scarred hands tightly gripped Niley's clothes.

"You should change clothes first; you're all wet. It's uncomfortable to wear them like that."

The room was warm, and when Niley came out of her space, it was only cold for that brief moment. Afterward, she didn't feel cold.

She just needed to change into some dry clothes.

With that in mind, she laid Mier down on the bed, then helped him remove his wet outerwear, gently brushing his ear. "Mier, wait for me."

"You… you're being improper!"

Just after Niley left, Jiang Xing woke up, still a bit groggy. All he could see was Niley's back. Her wet clothes clung to her body, showing off her curves. He couldn't help but stare.

Then, he saw her kiss Mier forcefully, and to his surprise, Mier didn't reject it. In front of them, they started kissing.

As Niley began to remove Mier's wet clothes, Jiang Xing couldn't hold back any longer and blurted out, blushing, "Hey, what are you doing?!"

Immediately, the others in the room were also awakened by the shout. However, they remained calm and didn't say anything when they saw Niley return. They simply left for the next room.

"Big brother, third brother, fourth brother, you guys..."

Before he could finish, he was pulled away by Mr. Chen, who was in the corner.

Mr. Chen's face was a little awkward, but he still spoke to Niley and Mier. "I'll take this boy away, you two can continue."

Niley: …

Mier: …

The two of them froze. When Mier realized what was happening, he immediately shrank into the blanket, curling up like a shrimp.

Hearing laughter, he kicked the blanket in dissatisfaction. His voice came muffled from under the covers. "You're still laughing!"

"We've only just gotten married. Of course, dad understands. Mier, there's no need to be so shy." After saying that, seeing that Mier still wasn't coming out from under the blanket, Niley stopped teasing him.

She told him to go take a shower.

When Mier saw she was really leaving, he hurriedly threw off the blanket, eyes fixed on Niley's back, not daring to blink.

Feeling his intense gaze, Niley couldn't help but notice. She quickened her pace and took a shower, then picked some clothes from her space that barely covered the important parts of her body. She hurriedly changed and jumped into bed.

As soon as she lay down, Mier immediately snuggled up to her.

Niley couldn't help but swallow hard. For some reason, she had no resistance to Mier, especially with how active he was tonight.

Her eyes darkened, and she asked, "Do you still want to sleep?"

Her voice was hoarse from the tension.

After waiting for a while, when she didn't hear Mier's response, she felt his hands moving all over her body under the blanket.

"Then let's not sleep!"

She said with determination.

She threw off the blanket, stripped Mier of his clothes, and then took out various body chains from her space.

Mier looked confusedly at the chains, not understanding.

Meanwhile, Niley slowly ran her hand over the chains, then looked at Mier. "Brother, which one do you like?"

Niley had always called him "Brother," and Mier blushed at her words.

He looked at the chains, thought they all looked nice, and nodded. "They all look nice."

"Are you sure?" Knowing that Mier didn't understand the significance of these things, Niley slowly tempted him, but still asked.

He nodded again.

Upon hearing that, Niley smiled triumphantly and casually chose one. She leaned toward Mier and asked, "Then, Brother, will you wear it for me?"

Mier, looking dazed, nodded and allowed Niley to put it on him.

Afterward, he awkwardly and shyly looked at Niley. Seeing that she liked it, he blushed and straightened up, showing it to her, but he couldn't bring himself to look at her.

Unbeknownst to him, this act was a violation in Niley's eyes.

She blew out the candles, using the warm yellow light from the fan to illuminate the room. Her eyes scanned him inch by inch, before she pounced on her prey with the speed of a predator.

The room was filled with soft moans, mixed with pleading sounds.

The sounds could be faintly heard in the next room.

Jiang Xing couldn't believe his eyes. "The wife is too much! She's bullying my second brother! And my second brother is still worried about her!"
