Jenny saw that Felix was busy; he was only wearing ordinary clothes. She knew he was going to do something that could get him into trouble again. She just sighed and shrugged as she watched him walk back and forth, checking if he had forgotten anything.
Jenny just sat on the couch, quietly watching her sibling. Felix noticed her and flicked her forehead.
"Don't worry too much." That's all Jenny heard. "I'm leaving now; you take care of the situation for a while." Then he patted her on the shoulder.
She could only nod in response. Among the siblings, once they discovered their abilities, they no longer kept their every move a secret to solve the long-standing question of how they became connected to the Fuego family.
She could only sigh when she thought about it. She also knew that in a week they would go to the Fuego mansion, where the four siblings were born and raised.
She is worried about the plan because she sees in her ability that they might get into trouble. She tapped her cheek.
I can't be afraid right now; I need to be with Mikaela. Her thoughts were limited to that moment.
Someone held her palms, and she noticed her younger sibling. Their house became even quieter when Thalia left for the province.
"Why?" she asked, staring at her younger brother.
"They said to hold your palm so you can calm down, sis." Greg said.
"Who are they?"
"Those are them, brother Fernan." Greg even told Jenny.
Jenny's heart suddenly tightened then, because she knew they wouldn't be in danger if she had warned the siblings that an armed person was entering their house.
"Forgive me if I was cowardly." Jenny said that back then.
"Sister, they said it's not your fault." Greg said.
"It's all my fault; if I had just told you earlier, you would still be here." She said, full of regret.
Greg held her palm, which suddenly trembled.
Her youngest, Greg, just stroked her. After a while, he sat beside her.
"Don't worry too much, Sister Thalia; I know he will be fine there."
Jenny just smiled, hugged Greg, and nodded.
"Do you see anything?" Jenny asked the youngest.
"Many," he said sadly. "I see their pasts; they're sad and frightening."
She just nodded in response, Jenny, while her youngest was recounting its feelings. She kissed him on the forehead.
"Sister, they will be in danger."
She furrowed her brow. "Who?" Jenny asked, confused.
"Those who are there in the province." He looked at her then.
"Even our older brother, I'm scared." The child, whose eyes were filled with fear as he looked at her, said,
"Nothing will happen, Greg." Jenny calms the fear her younger brother is feeling.
She hugged him, so Greg hugged her back. Suddenly, she found herself on a journey. She was surprised to find Greg with her, so she held onto his hands.
They arrived at her cousin's house, which looked like a home to them. She is seeing the past again.
She saw a black van stop in front of their house, the Fernans'.
"This is the day when the two siblings died." Jenny whispered.
A man wearing a black hood descended then, and before heading to the house, he removed it and immediately changed into ordinary clothes. She was right; it was indeed Fernan.
He took a deep breath first before entering their home.
They didn't realize that they were already inside the house. She saw her cousins, who were joyful and full of laughter, in the house.
Shaina, Kristine, George. As she introduced each of her cousins, Jenny's heart was pierced by what she witnessed; her heart was stabbed multiple times because she had done nothing for them when they needed her help.
She pretended to be deaf and acted as if she didn't know her cousins back then, just so they wouldn't get into trouble, because she was cowardly; she admitted that she was cowardly for not helping her cousins back then.
Tears fell from her eyes as she watched the joyful laughter and conversations from before.
They were taken to the dense forest. She saw that Fernan was running away; he was being chased by many armed men, he was hiding something, which he wouldn't let go of, and suddenly, a gunshot echoed.
Jenny was deafened by the loud gunshot, so she hugged her companion, Greg. His arm was already bleeding, but he kept running.
The heavy rain, coupled with the disappearance of blood traces on his path, complicates the search for Fernan.
He is here under the big tree; even though he is weak, he keeps on digging and digging.
"I need to hide this, Felix; you take care of my siblings." He whispered this while digging into the ground with his hands, even though it was hit by a bullet.
Jenny swallowed hard because she had seen in her premonition that her cousin would die and his siblings would die after Fernan was killed.
But none of them did that; they let the remaining siblings be killed.
"Don't blame yourselves; I can see the future too. My sibling and I will be together." She was taken aback by his words.
It seems that Fernan knew they were there, but he continued digging; he even heard him laugh.
"You need to take action, Felix. They will wipe out our clan as long as they can kill."
There, she felt a chill at what she heard. Fernan had finished hiding the evidence her sister was looking for; she needed a sign to share it with Thalia.
Fernan moved away from where he was digging; he was drenched in the rain, clutching his injured arm, and a shadow appeared where he was hiding.
Jenny witnessed the gunshots without a word. Jenny covered her mouth as she witnessed her cousin's death.
In its last breath, it looked in their direction, a lot of blood flowing, mixing with the pouring rain.
He even reached out his hand as if asking for help, her heart breaking even more at what she witnessed; she was consumed by her conscience once again.
"Shaina, Kristine, Geor---ge, my---my siblings, I---I can no longer return to your side n---now." He said softly.
The bullet struck him once more in the head, puncturing his skull and causing a thick red liquid to spill out.
She screamed at what she witnessed. Jenny was shocked to find herself sitting on the couch with her brother Greg.
Tears soaked her cheeks then, as she sobbed and gazed at Greg.
"Sister, Jenny," Greg hugged her.
She hugged her brother back then, who was also crying.
