"Forgive me…everything…everything is my fault." A simple sentence filled with sadness, with remorse, and which could barely be heard clearly.
"If…if…IF ONLY I DIDN'T EXIST!" she uttered with immense pain in her voice. However, it was already too late; they were there, the only ones in this dark room. So only the light of the night illuminated it. Just two people whose destiny had taken a tragic turn. Two beings in this room that from the outside looked so large, so majestic, but for them, it was a suffocating box…just four walls and an atmosphere so dark, so melancholic.
Just two people, one crying and the other being cried for.
It was a little girl of about 7 years old, a fragile little girl who was crying big tears. She was dressed in a magnificent white and red dress…Yes, a red so strong, so vivid…so warm, this red was the consequence of an action, of a sin, of a choice. One couldn't clearly distinguish this little girl in this darkness, but one thing caught the eye: her magnificent jade eyes, a color that captivated, that intrigued. These eyes, at a simple glance, plunged one into comfort, into appeasement, despite the atrocious scene. Who was to blame in this story, one could not say.
The body beside her that she was embracing was there, still. One couldn't distinguish its face, not because of the darkness, but rather because it was difficult to identify. It was beautiful. Was it really a man or a woman? That too was difficult to explain. This person with curly black hair and a magnificent ebony complexion, and dressed in a majestic robe that only kings wore, a black robe with gold bands scattered across it that made their attire most majestic, alas covered in blood. Had they been stabbed or even poisoned? One could not say without conducting an investigation. There was nothing at the scene apart from these two beings.
The little girl was still crying over this being, then suddenly the deceased's body began to shimmer, it was radiant. Perhaps they were coming back to life? One would have liked to believe it, but no, their body, although shimmering, was disappearing slowly in the arms of this little girl who held them even tighter. She didn't want this person to leave, she didn't want to be alone. Why did she have to feel all this? Unfortunately, their body disappeared, leaving nothing.
She was there, still in shock, sitting on the ground barefoot on that icy floor. She had just lost someone, she had made them leave, why? Sobbing, she stood up and…
"AAAAAAAARGH!" a piercing scream that would chill you to the bone she let out, a scream so dreadful, so murderous. One felt all the pain, her pain. This cry, this suffering, was that the answer, her answer to the world, a way to express herself. She stood up, picked up a piece of glass lying on the ground, and…

She was there in the center, the room had changed, she was still…her eyes had disappeared, and she displayed a jaw-tearing smile. A smile so sinister, so murderous, then she approached very slowly, crying tears of blood.
She walked slowly, the glass in her hand, still that disturbing smile, her jaw unhinging. The more she advanced, the less human she seemed. With each step, a sound could be heard, laughter from the right and the left, then: "KILL HER" "KILL HER ALFI" The voice became more and more insistent, but where was it coming from? "KILL HER NOW" She was right in front of me, making me unable to move, then…
TRUMPET SOUND (cry of terror) "That dream again, it's becoming more and more disturbing. And who is that girl at the end, and what am I supposed to do? Rah, I don't have time to bother with this, today is the big day, I can't lose focus, and it's party time!" All while getting out of bed. He gathered his things and all his equipment, then went to wake up his roommate.
"Hey Den, wake up, it's time. Don't mess around, I won't protect you against the boss, not today anyway." The latter was still sleeping like a baby on his bed and even snoring. Den is a boy of about 184cm tall, of average build, with long blue hair, including a strand that hides his left eye.
"In that case, I think I'll have some fun with your little treasure." Alfi then headed towards Den's weapon, who was still asleep, and just as he was about to grab the hilt of the katana, Den snatched it back before him, as if he had sensed it.
"No one has the right to touch MY treasure, not even you, degenerate," Den shouted while kissing his weapon.
"Anyway, I didn't…" He didn't finish his sentence when the sub-chief interrupted them.
"Assembly now, boys, you all know that the boss doesn't tolerate lateness," then he left immediately.
The two put on their outfits and went to the square. There were a total of five tents for 10 people, each tent housing a team of two, and each duo was positioned in front of their tent, waiting for the boss's orders.
The sub-chief was in the center of everyone, then moved back a few centimeters when suddenly the boss appeared out of nowhere in a flash, leaving a large hole in the ground. The cloud of smoke released by her landing was enormous but disappeared immediately with a simple wave of the sub-chief's hand. Everyone was disconcerted but quickly regained their position, then the boss began to tour the teams before starting her speech.
She was a magnificent woman who must have been around 170cm tall. She had long black hair that reached her shoulders, a jaded yet piercing gaze amplified by deep black eyes like a vortex; it was as if she was reading inside our souls. She wasn't staring at anyone in particular, but her mere presence was enough to raise the pressure, and the atmosphere became increasingly tense. She wore a traditional straw hat on her head. The outfit she wore was a set consisting of a long night-green coat with a flower pattern on the arm, a white shirt accompanied by a red bow tie, black trousers, and long black boots. And the centerpiece of her attire was a magnificent rifle she had on her shoulder, a rifle with runic inscriptions on its handle.
Furthermore, the rest of us wore the same outfit, including the sub-chief: tracksuits. The sub-chief was a rather simple man, with brown hair, an athletic build, and wore glasses. He wasn't the type to stand out or have a particular style but was rather kind.
The boss advanced slowly, then took a silver coin out of her pocket, holding it with her fingertips, tossed it, and caught it firmly in her left fist. A flash of light immediately illuminated her hand. "You are here for the Regulator entrance exam. I will introduce myself one last time. I am Minh Vu, a rank 3 hunter and professor of the guild. Today, the objective is simple…there are two meeth to intercept. You have 33 minutes to track them down and proceed with the regulation upon my signal." No sooner had her speech ended than she thrust her fist into the air, projecting a flash of light into the sky.
That was the signal. It was 7 pm at the time of the events. As soon as the flash appeared in the sky, the four teams separated into the dark forest to take care of the mission. It was hunting time…
