Chapter 1 - Prologue

Thunder

The winds are blowing heavy, dark clouds covered the sky, rain is pouring like there is no end in the day. As the rain befalls on the windows, Edward was more focused on his phone. In such a good environment, it's a sin not to read porn manga.

"Yes, now bind her up and fuck the shit out of her. Don't give her—Noooo, you fucking idiot... Why would you say you love her?

This is fucking stupid," he spoke with a very unpleasant expression on his face."Don't confess love in the middle of that, you dumb bastard!" he growled, slapping his thigh in frustration."Trash.

Goddamn trash. Why ruin perfect art with that romantic bullshit?"

He sighed, scrolling through dozens of bookmarked sites. Rain be damned—this was peak relaxation weather for H manga reading.

No distractions, no fake smiles.

Edward wasn't into skinny girls. No, his holy grail was MILFs. Thick, experienced, nurturing—real women, be it drawn in god-tier quality or real life, he loved to be with them.

"Maybe I should go out often and try to talk with a girl," Edward thought but immediately dismissed the idea.

He didn't have any interest in girls—only thing that interested him was big MILFs. Only MILFs could offer him salvation.

As a 22-year-old virgin, he was smiling weirdly as he looked for new H manga to fap on. One could say, being this much in age, why couldn't he just find girls? The answer is simple—he couldn't, and he didn't want to go with fat and two-baby big mothers.

But reality is, when he was in high school in Class 11, he tried to speak to a girl and proposed to her. But she complained to her mother. Then the mother complained, and that led to the principal of the school. The amount of ridicule and bullying he had to face for that made him become an introvert—not wanting to go out. Never touched grass outside of his small room.

And with years of knowledge on the internet, he fell on the dark side. Finally, after continuous search, he found a gem with godlike art and story. Story placed in a medieval era.

"Finally, a worthy one for my attention," Edward thought in his mind.

Reality is that he read almost all the good god-quality arts, but this one only came out some seconds ago.

Seeing this, Edward became excited as he read thoroughly, page by page. The story was spoken through pictures, as there was little actual dialogue.

"Definitely one of the masterpieces," Edward spoke as he started to rub his hand at motor speed.

5 minutes—one go.

12 minutes—the second one fell.

But on the third time, a sudden arch started in his heart-and he died.

....

In the field of dry ground, a boy around the age of fourteen lay on the cracked earth. The land was dead. Cracked earth stretched endlessly under a sunless sky, where not even weeds dared to grow.

He needed water. Just a small amount of it could salvage him. He could sacrifice anything—God, he just wanted to live a good, normal life. Why did he even need to become the Baron's only son? Now, being in the most barren wasteland, he couldn't help but cry out from hunger. He couldn't take it anymore.

All he wished was to live well—At least If not like the fancy nobles in KingsKnight.. than like peasants.

But the curse of being the next heir wouldn't let his life be great. He couldn't help but curse at the gods—even the kings—for not taking care of this damned land.

"If the gods won't help me…" he muttered, eyes trembling, "...then I'll turn to the Devil. No the god of devils. The one who answers when the world turns its back."

From his small, young heart, he made a dangerous vow.And in a world of magic, such vows had consequences.

"Oh great god of devils..."

Then he immediately thought—what was the god of devils' name?

Like how Goddess Fiona was offered food. When to eat.

Like how a bucket of rain was offered to the God of Rain. When prayed to him for rain. What could the god of devils want?

Hungry, staring up at the blue sky, he recalled what Merchant travellers had once said—That the devil liked to exchange

"Dear god of devils, who could exchange anything for a price...The Demon God. The Exchange. Heed my call—and give me an opportunity not born out of hunger, not in a life like this."

Immediately, a word flashed through his mind

Nerth the Daemon. Nerth the Hypocrite. Thou the Exchanger heed your call

Would you like to exchange your body for food to never run out?

Staring at the glowing letters and the contract pouring directly into his mind, the innocent Lucien Argrave driven by hunger said yes and immediately signed his name.

And in that moment, his soul left the body.

A new soul poured into the child's vessel.

A figure—As that soul took over the child's body successfully, deep in the void, a man sat on a throne.

He was handsome, like a divine god, with black hair and eyes darker than night. Seated on the blackest throne, he let out a creeping smile.

"Finally... I've infiltrated that world."

A crazy laugh echoed across the empty realm as he saw the child's soul fly toward him.

He was the Exchanger.A being who had lived deep in the void for millennia.

"Don't worry, kid. I wouldn't do anything to you.Or... I could just reincarnate you to another world where people live with tons of food."

Smiling, he looked into the void.

"This Daemon is satisfied. Now do your job properly, Edward...Be an Emperor."
