Chapter 5 Recruiting heroes [1]
Finding a hero wasn't a problem for me thankfully.
I already had my eyes on the location.
It was at the capital of Antares, an orphanage named Antares Children Foundation.
It was founded by the previous Emperor and thanks to that many players at the game.
Whether they were in the Allied Nation's side or the Empire side could adopt some of those child and raise them to be a hero.
The Antares Children Foundation orphanage was a popular place to get heroes but the quality would vary.
Despite that, it was a popular place for beginners to get heroes early.
Compared to other heroes where you would have to meet their requirements.
The Antares Children Foundation didn't need any of that and you only needed to adopt them and raise them.
Now I needed to ask Sebastian to go there and get my heroes as early I could.
"Sebastian, can you go to a place called the Antares Children Foundation"
I ordered Sebastian to go there and get my heroes.
"It's somewhere here in the capital Antares"
Sebastian drove around the capital until we finally found it.
The military suv stopped when we arrived in front of it.
It's time for me to step out and go get them for wa- I mean adopt my heroes.
The orphanage was huge, it was 5 stories tall just like in the game.
Standing outside at the orphanage and observing its look.
It looked like a typical apartment from my previous world.
"It's time to get my heroes" I thought.
Walking inside the orphanage, there were countless kids playing and running together
And some of those kids even invited me to play.
"Mister, mister play with us!"
"Yeah mister!"
"Come follow us and play with us!" One of the kids replied.
"No I'm busy right now kids, next time I will play with you I promise" I responded.
I had another goal that I needed to do.
"Mister you're no fun"
"Why don't you wanna play with us mister?"
"Right?" One of the kids sighed.
"Please move away kids"
"You're blocking his majesty the Emperor his path" Sebastian commanded.
"Let's move away, that guy looks scary"
"Yeah lets play with another mister" The kids hearing that immediately moved away.
I could see the kids looked unhappy after I didn't accept to play with them, I sighed.
Atleast they were gone now.
While I was looking around, Sebastian asked one of the employees "Where's your manager?"
The employees recognizing the man didn't waste any time further and replied to Sebastian "Ill call her right now, please wait"
One of the employees ran hurriedly and came back with another person, I assumed it was the manager.
She was walking towards my direction and directly introduced herself after she arrived in front of me.
"Oh your majesty the Emperor, what is it that you wished to meet me?" The manager replied.
The manager in front of me was none other than Katherine, a 2 star character from [Nations Rise].
Despite being a 2 star character, she was well known in the game due to her constant appearance of managing the orphanage.
Many players were even fans for her all because of one reason, she was beautiful.
She had a long black hair, black eyes, average stature and wore a casual attire.
Now that I was seeing her in reality, her face was the most prettiest I had seen compared to other female characters in [Nations Rise].
But I didn't just come here to see her, now that she was here, I could ask her directly the people I wanted to adopt.
I began asking Sebastian to bring me a paper and a pen.
Now writing the names, the people who I had adopt were well known heroes in the game.
After writing up the names, I gave it Katherine and stated "Bring me those people"
Immidiately Katherine understood before leaving quickly.
Sebastian looked at me and asked
"Your majesty, what did you wrote on the paper?"
I replied "Well it's just a list of people I know"
"I plan to train them as heroes"
"Your majesty, heroes are rare and honestly I don't think there's heroes in this orphanage" Sebastian commented.
"Oh you'll see, just wait" I answered back.
The people I had written on the paper were Leon, Jan, Nikolas and lastly Anna.
3 males and 1 female in total.
They all had black hair, eyes and average height wearing casual clothings from what I remembered in the game.
All of them looked like in their teenager years except for Leon.
Leon was already a young adult and that meant he could be drafted for war.
All of them had the potential to become 3 star heroes.
Currently one of them was a 1 star hero that was about to be a 2 star hero.
It was Leon who was currently a 1 star hero who was about to breakthrough into 2 stars.
The rest had not awakened their potentials.
Not long after, Katherine had arrived with the people I wrote on the list.
Katherine asked me
"Your majesty, these are the people you wish to adopt right?"
"Yes"
I answered back. I was smiling since these heroes could grow fast and had a decent potential.
"Leon, Jan, Nikolas, Anna, introduce yourselves to your new parents!"
"It's his majesty the Emperor!" Katherine cheered happily back to the orphans.
"Congratulations to you having a new parents"
"Listen well to his majesty the Emperor once you get there okay?" Katherine informed.
Well now that the heroes I need are here.
I needed to train them
"Well I'll just hire a private tutor for them" I thought.
Leon moved forward and said
"I'm leon" and those three others are "Jan, Nikolas and Anna"
Well that was it for their introductions.
After they were done trying to introduce some things about themselves I immediately asked them to follow me.
"Sebastian let's go" I said.
The plans for adopting them were complete.
The future heroes quickly followed suit after leaving.
We got back into the military suv.
And I got inside first then Sebastian came next and the rest of the future heroes had gotten inside now.
Finally inside the military suv, I spoke
"Do you know the reason for me adopting you?"
"No"
They answered back together.
"Well it's because you have the potential to become heroes" I explained.
All of them were surprised except Leon.
Leon was already a hero and was trying to hide it but I already knew from my game knowledge.
"Sebastian, lets go back to my residence" I said.
"As you wish majesty" Sebastian answered back to me.
Hours later…
The military suv got inside the gate and stopped into my residence.
We all got outside and I spoke
"You guys go at the Emperors guest room building and stay there except for Leon here"
"Also Sebastian, follow and help them"
"As you wish majesty" Sebastian replied to me.
Now Leon and me were the only ones left.
"Leon follow me" I spoke
"Yes your majesty" Leon stated back to me.
We began walking until we finally arrived at the garden.
I broke the silence and spoke
"Leon, I know you're a hero"
"Don't try to hide that fact from me"
"I just know it you're one"
