Chapter 3 - I'm going to handle it better

Sara took her time to investigate the face she was seeing in her reflection through the window.

Sofia had full lips, small nose and small narrow chin. She had siren green sparkling eyes with long eyelashes. As she went on and on getting more information about her new body feature, she realized that this girly girl wasn't as flawless as she thought.

When she saw the scar around the girl's neck, a memory flashed in her head. The scar was caused by Diego, the man who raised her.

Although he was toxic from the beginning, Sara happened to be on his side because that was how she was also raised in her previous life, which made her strong and fearless. If only Sofia followed Diego's plan for her, they might have avenged their families death a long time ago but she was just too good and it did nothing but led her to her downfall.

"Well, you failed, Sofia and I believe that the reason I'm now in charge is because of the cry of those who suffered in the hands of those in power. The Lycan royal family must pay for all they have done!" she said with determination to her reflection in the window.

However, she didn't know where to start. She didn't understand anything about transmigration but she had heard something about soul shifting from one of the gang members she killed when they tried to warn her about the police officer.

The thought of the imposter still angered her but unfortunately, she had no power to do anything about that as she was dead in her past life, which was why she didn't want to lose in this new life she had just possessed.

She knew that she transmigrated because she died and in this world that she knew little about, Sofia also died and that was how her soul got shifted into this weak emotional body, which she was planning to change.

From the memory she received from the previous host, it was the year 1989, the month of june. However, she didn't know the date but she knew that the Lycan king was enthroned on the first of June and two nights later she was killed.

Therefore, it should be the 4th of june.

"I wasn't only transmigrated but also went back in time. I don't know if I switched bodies with Sofia but if she's Sara now, she must be in prison," Sofia laughed. "I dont give a fuck about her anyway. This life is mine now and I know I'm going to handle it better."

She leaned back from the window, as now, she already made a decision.

Meanwhile, in Diego's room, which was the room for slaves and servants in the palace was one of their group members announcing the news of Sofia being alive and being in the care of the royal family and the ruin of the one he sent to burn her body.

"How do you think this message sounds to me?" Diego in rage asked but in a calm voice.

When the messenger gave no response as he didn't have the audacity to say what was on his mind about the question, Diego grabbed the short tumbler glass cup he was using to drink alcohol and tossed it in the messenger's way. The glass cup shattered to the ground.

"Sofia," he stood up grunting and holding his long shoulder-length hair in his fist. "Sofia!" He roared because the thought of her ruining him hit him really hard.

The messenger stood there, quivering as he was an omega too. Diego could choose to end his life because of his anger, scaring him even more. All he could do at that moment was hope. He watched as Diego paced about, hitting his leg on every stuff he saw.

"Get the hell out of here!" Diego growled, causing the messenger to walk away with shivering legs. It was hard for him to share the message with the master but he had to.

Diego looked around for a moment, thinking about what to do but he ended up drinking another glass of alcohol.

Back in Sofia's room was the girl cutting her long hair without a mirror. The previous host of the body was blessed with full long red hair and it wasn't to the taste of the new host.

Sofia didn't hate the color of her hair. In fact it was unique, making her regret not coloring her hair red in her past life.

Memories of how her mother in this new life used to brush her hair flashed in her head.

Sofia grimaced. "So pathetic." Sofia hated affectionate actions. It irritated her because she felt like it was all fake and was only for the weak like the previous host of her body.

The hair wasn't styled well but she got rid of it's longness. She cut her mid-back length hair to neck length and she was satisfied with it when she went to the window to check her reflection.

"Perfect," she whispered, smirking at herself.

She couldn't wait to meet up with Diego to tell him that she was ready to participate fully in the mission of destroying the Lycan king's family.

Of course, the Lycans were the strongest and also planned to rule over the werewolves but the slight needle they think is tiny and breakable can bleed the heart of giants.

Soon after she settled in her bed, she heard multiple footsteps and suddenly became cautious and alerted. She couldn't see clearly like a normal rank Lycan could see in the dark, so behind her, she hid the small knife she used to cut her hair, which she found in one of the drawers, and widened her eyes at what might come for her in the room.

Although it felt like she wasn't familiar with anything around her. But she was very familiar with things around her because of the previous host's memory and knowledge.

When Sofia thought about why anyone would attack an Omega, she let her guards down a little because the only person after her life wouldn't want to kill her as she was ready to comply with his decision.

According to the previous host's knowledge, a rejection is valid only when both mates accepted the rejection but the Lycan king hadn't accepted Sofia's rejection and the night of his coronation showed that she still had a chance to enter his life.

The room brightened up when the door went open. Two men walked in with large lanterns, bringing light into the dim room.

Sofia found the mirror. It was just across the room but she couldn't recognize it because it was attached to the drawer where she got the small knife from.

Then another man entered. His aura filled the air as he walked in but she wasn't moved by his presence.

She tightened her fist around the small knife in her hand behind her. As he came closer, she saw herself doing stuff she shouldn't do yet to the Lycan king.

Their eyes met.

While she was looking at him with disgust and anger, he was looking at her with worry and care.

"You are awake," he said with a sigh of relief.

She looked so uninterested.

The Lycan king, Nathan saw the mess she made on the bed and floor because she wanted to cut her hair.

Then the healer taking care of Sofia since she entered the clinic rushed in to check on Sofia.

"Come on, I'm fine. It was just a few stabs," she said coldly as the woman checked around her body.

"I know you are upset with me but they aren't just stabs. I could have lost you," he said to her affectionately. "How is she doing?" He turned to the healer.

Sofia had a lot to say but the thought that struck her mind made her calm down.

'The goal is to make him fall in love with me so that he'd willingly enter my trap and to achieve this I have to be calm.'

Even though it killed her to be calm, she knew that she had to. She definitely didn't want to mess up in this life like she did her previous.
