SHADOWED OBSERVATION ROOM – BUREAU – NIGHT
High above the interrogation chamber, in a dimly lit surveillance overlook shielded from sensors, a tall man watches the exchange below. His sharp grey eyes don't blink. The display glass before him is one-way; he can see Arvan, but none can see him.
This is RAJAT V.—or as time once knew him—Mahabali.
RAJAT (quiet and thoughtful):
"It's not every day the wheel of time forgets to turn."
"Rāvaṇa, King of the Southern Cosmos… wearing a mortal shell. And yet…"
(He leans in slightly, eyes narrowing)
"…he doubts himself. Just like I once did."
He lifts a small pendant hanging from his neck. It glows faintly with a glyph—a forgotten Asura script. His fingers tighten around it.
RAJAT (to himself):
"The Devas (Gods) play their games again. And the pawns awaken."
Behind him, a Bureau officer steps in, unaware of his true identity.
OFFICER:
"Sir, should we inform Rigved about the anomaly cluster near Pune?"
RAJAT (turning slowly):
"No. Let it fester. We watch… not interfere."
OFFICER (hesitates):
"But what if it spreads?"
RAJAT (smiles faintly):
"Then perhaps the gods will finally bleed."
The officer leaves, unsettled. Rajat turns back to Arvan's screen, watching him clutch his own head in torment.
RAJAT (final line):
"Show me, demon-king. Show me if your fire still burns… or if you've turned to ash like the rest of us."
