Chapter 86 - Chapter 86 – Vali: I May Be Stubborn, But I’m Not Stupid

Takumi looked at the representatives from the three factions with some curiosity.

"Did you all help gather these people here?"

Seeing everyone present, Takumi understood.

Michael smiled and nodded.

"Yes. After you left, our Lord instructed us to arrange this. That's why so many Sacred Gear wielders are here today."

Knowing Takumi wanted the Sacred Gears, Veya had given simple instructions, and the Church and angels acted at once. Michael even contacted Azazel for help gathering all the Sacred Gear users. Those unwilling to come were simply dragged over.

Takumi nodded in response.

"Alright. Sorry to trouble you all. In that case, I won't stand on ceremony."

After understanding the situation, Takumi was delighted. This would save him a lot of time. Once things were settled here, he could finally start dealing with the exe world. As for the rest of the pantheons, it didn't matter if he visited or not. Among all the data he'd gathered, there was already plenty of knowledge from other pantheons. Piece by piece, it was almost complete. All this knowledge would take Takumi a long time to digest. All in all, his visit to this world was very worthwhile. A bountiful harvest!

The Sacred Gear wielders could only comply after hearing Takumi's words. After all, the three major factions had already spoken with them, and everyone knew who this man was—the one who stirred up every pantheon. Clearly, he wasn't someone they could afford to provoke. Even Vali, stubborn as he was, wasn't foolish enough to challenge Takumi. He liked fighting strong opponents, but that didn't mean he was dumb. The best thing now was to just cooperate.

Even Cao Cao had been forcibly brought over by the angels. Vali knew this well.

So, when Takumi started copying Sacred Gears, everything went smoothly. No one dared refuse.

Kaguya, observing all this from a corner, couldn't help but comment,

"This guy showed up in your world and instantly became an even scarier demon king than the actual demon king. And he really did kidnap Ophis! Incredible!"

Takumi, after visiting several worlds, had made quite a stir everywhere. It was no surprise that people would think twice before letting him into their worlds in the future.

"Well… Takumi-kun doesn't mean any harm. It's fine."

Akeno smiled as she watched everything unfold. Sure, Takumi had caused plenty of trouble, but the world was much quieter now. The way everyone was scared but couldn't say a thing was honestly amusing. That's the power of overwhelming strength—nobody dared raise their voice at Takumi. So enviable!

Akeno thought she should work hard too, to become stronger. She wanted to be an ancestor-level person, just like Takumi!

...

Takumi, for his part, had no idea his actions had inspired Akeno in this world. If he knew, he'd surely give her a thumbs up. Truly, with enough strength, you can do whatever you want. Didn't you see how nobody dared talk back to him? If anyone did, they'd be shaking in their boots. Well, except for the idiots in the chat group.

After all, when Takumi first joined the group, he was just a regular guy, then drew the End Cocoon on his first sign-in. So nobody in the group really feared him. Instead, he gave off the vibe that "if I tried hard enough, I could do it too!"

Of course, Takumi didn't really care about his groupmates' attitude.

Finally, Takumi copied the Sacred Gears from Vali, Tobio Ikuse, and the others. With those done, his deal with Serafall was complete.

With everything handled, Takumi smiled and thanked everyone,

"Alright, thanks for coming all this way. I'm done here."

Hearing that, everyone present finally relaxed.

Vali spoke up at last.

"So, we can leave now?"

Takumi nodded.

"Of course. Nobody's stopping you if you want to go."

With everything settled, they were free to leave.

Vali glanced at the people with him.

"You all go on ahead."

He wasn't planning to leave yet—after all, he was on the Fallen Angel side now. He let Tobio Ikuse and Lavinia Reni leave first.

"As for me, I'm staying. I've decided to follow Lady Serafall."

But Lavinia Reni refused to leave. Serafall had already set her sights on her from the start, and now Lavinia was to become her retainer. Besides her, other Sacred Gear wielders who weren't already affiliated with a faction were invited too. Becoming a retainer for a Maou was tempting, and after a moment's thought, they agreed.

Vali frowned. "You've really decided?"

Lavinia nodded. "Yes, I have. Don't worry, Miss Serafall takes good care of me."

Seeing his concern, Lavinia smiled, reassuring him. At least following Serafall seemed like a good choice. She could tell Serafall was sincerely inviting her. There was even talk about forming a magical girl unit in the future—which sounded fun!

Vali had nothing left to say. Once his foster sister made up her mind, there was no changing it.

"Alright then."

Takumi looked at Lavinia and the others. So, they'd decided to stick with Serafall? Good for them. The devils were quick to seize the opportunity, gathering so many Sacred Gear users at once—of course they'd be interested.

He muttered to himself, but didn't really mind. With that handled, Takumi and Michael led everyone into the conference room.

"Mr. Takumi, this gathering is to sign a three-faction peace agreement. Would you and Ophis care to serve as witnesses?"

Michael explained why everyone had been gathered.

A three-faction peace agreement? Looks like a lot had happened while Takumi was visiting other pantheons. But this time, with the agreement being signed, nobody should try to stir up trouble, right?
