Takumi's gaze also landed on Ophis.
Earlier, he'd just left her alone to think things through herself.
Now, had she made up her mind?
"I'll go with you. But you have to help me beat up that guy!"
Ophis said this with complete seriousness.
Hearing her, Takumi grinned with interest.
"You'd better be sure. If I take you to my place and you regret it, I'm not sending you back~. It's actually pretty troublesome to go back and forth. If I take care of the business with exe, then all those dangers I warned you about won't happen here anymore. So, if you stay, you can still go back to the Dimensional Gap in the future. Think it through carefully. Don't regret it later—because I don't have the points to send you back."
Ophis nodded. "I've thought it through. In this world, they just want my power anyway. So, it's fine to leave. Besides… I can't beat that guy, even if I get help from others."
She was very aware of this. Relying on people like Cao Cao? Impossible. They simply weren't strong enough. If they're all trying to use her power, how could they ever defeat Great Red? Ophis might look absentminded, but she understood a lot. Unless you had overwhelming strength, there was no way to beat Great Red. In this world, very few could match it.
So, she decided to leave with Takumi. As long as she could punch that guy before leaving, that'd be enough.
Hearing Ophis say all this, Takumi was surprised.
"So that's what you think. Well, as long as you're sure you won't regret it."
Since she was clear about her decision, it was perfect.
Ophis nodded again, saying nothing more. From now on, she would follow Takumi, at least until they dealt with Great Red and then left together.
Seeing the two of them settle things, Veya started asking Takumi about his world, as well as Gabriel's situation.
If Gabriel went with Takumi, she'd bring her angels along—at least several hundred of them. All those angels would follow Gabriel to Takumi's world. Wasn't that basically making Gabriel Heaven's ambassador?
Takumi and Veya chatted together. He also shared information about his own world and other worlds. Hearing about so many Bible Gods in other worlds, Veya's eyes flashed with intrigue. That was truly interesting. Although, maybe the Gods in those worlds were male.
"If I ever get the chance, I'd like to meet another world's God."
She was being sincere.
"So, why not come with me too?"
Hearing this, Veya was speechless.
"That's obviously impossible. I can't just leave this world for now."
How could she just up and leave? She was this world's Bible God—it wasn't so easy to abandon everything. If she went to another world, her power would also drop dramatically.
Takumi just shrugged, dropping the subject.
While the two chatted, many of Takumi's robots finished their work and stopped. Their task was complete. Noticing this, Takumi stood up.
"I've finished collecting everything from here. Now I'll head to the other pantheons. I'll take care of those evil gods, so you can focus on your own business."
Having said that, he began putting away his robots. Veya nodded in response. Takumi wanted this world's knowledge and magical systems—of course he'd have to visit the other pantheons too. She had gathered a lot, but not everything.
Once the robots were packed up, Takumi looked at Ophis.
"Ophis, let's go! I'll take you on a tour of the other pantheons~!"
With that, Takumi opened a spatial passage and stepped through. Ophis hurried to catch up.
Bringing Ophis along—who knew how the other pantheons would react?
Takumi wandered around the world with Ophis, startling many gods with their sudden visits. Upon arrival, Takumi unleashed a burst of intimidation—his overwhelming aura left the gods gasping for air.
After a friendly chat, they could only hand over their pantheon's knowledge.
Of course, some were unwilling, but before long, they relented.
The Herrscher of Reason rewrote their minds, making them think Takumi was their friend. Not even gods could stop him. Still, stubborn ones were rare—after all, Takumi had Ophis with him. Who dared defy him?
With that, everything went smoothly. Takumi collected all the artifacts and knowledge from each pantheon.
He came and went, but it felt as if he'd never been there—he only copied things, after all. That made the gods frustrated. And with Takumi so openly dragging Ophis along, everyone in the world's pantheons soon knew about this terrifying guy collecting their knowledge. Many were left sulking.
Of course, Takumi didn't visit every pantheon. For example, he skipped the Indian gods—he didn't want to get involved with any weird flavors. So he just ignored them.
The Norse and Greek pantheons, though, Takumi visited thoroughly, collecting almost everything there was to collect.
After that, Serafall finally managed to bring the person Takumi wanted.
But when Takumi returned to Kuoh Town, he was surprised: not only were Lavinia Reni, Vali, and Tobio Ikuse there, but other Sacred Gear wielders too. It was a full-on Sacred Gear meetup.
"Yo! Why is everyone here?"
Takumi was astonished at the sight.
"Mr. Takumi!"
Just as he was reeling from surprise, Michael appeared again—along with Sirzechs and Azazel, the Fallen Angel Governor. All three factions had sent people.
It was Azazel's first time meeting Takumi, and he studied him with interest. This was the man who'd made the other pantheons so frustrated. He glanced at Ophis, too—who now obediently stood behind Takumi.
