Chapter 29 - 14

"He is Voldemort's lackey, the pride of my parents, their little hero, but to me he is a disgusting guy!"

"Oh, later in Azkaban, I heard that he wanted to quit the Death Eaters because of fear and cowardice, but that was naturally impossible, so he died.·s^o¢eo\.?n^e^t/"

Sirius kept talking, seemingly very dissatisfied with his younger brother, even disgusted with him, but his emotions revealed that he cared about his younger brother - after all, the two brothers grew up together and had a good relationship when they were young.

Edward began, "What if Regulus is not who you think he is."

Sirius frowned.

"Don't forget Sirius. For the past ten years, you have also been considered as the villain who betrayed Harry's father and joined Voldemort. But only you know the truth."

Harry looked over immediately after hearing this.

"…"

Sirius was silent for a moment, then whispered, "So, Regulus is misunderstood just like me?"

Edward thought for a moment and said, "In fact, Kreacher knows this best, but unfortunately he will never and will never tell you."

"That bastard?"

Sirius stood up immediately, "I'll ask him now!"

Edward and Audrey looked at each other helplessly. They should have waited until after dinner to tell him. Given the current situation, they probably wouldn't be able to have dinner tonight.

Soon, Sirius's angry voice was heard, mixed with Kreacher's intermittent insults and screams. The three little ones hurried over and saw Sirius kick Kreacher two or three meters away, pointing at him and shouting: "I want you to tell me everything you know about Regulus!"

"No! You little brat that is hated by the mistress. Kreacher will not betray Master Regulus."

"I am your master now. I command you...to speak immediately!"

Kreacher immediately fell into a state of tangled pain. He suddenly turned around and smashed his head against the wall: "Waste Kreacher, waste Kreacher, you lost the things the master asked you to do, and now you are threatened by the traitor of the Black family to betray the master! Damn Kreacher."

"Kreacher! Stop banging your head against the wall, the floor, or anything else. Stop everything you are doing and tell me about Regulus. I'm glad you're here."

The elf froze for a moment, he turned his head and lay straight on the cold stone floor, tears pouring out of his sunken eye sockets.

"...Master Regulus found Kreacher one year after joining the Dark Lord's organization. He said that the Dark Lord needed an elf..."

Kreacher began to cry and recount how Voldemort took him to hide the locket, and how Regulus later took him to steal the locket and was dragged into the pool by the Inferi.

"Master Re-Regulus pulled a locket out of his pocket, just like the Dark Lord's," said Kreacher, tears streaming down both sides of his long nose. "He told Kreacher to hold it, and when the basin was dry, to replace the locket..."

"He ordered Kreacher to leave... to leave him alone. He told Kreacher to go home... to destroy the locket somehow. Then he drank... drank the potion dry. Kreacher switched the locket, and then, he watched... Master Regulus being dragged under the water..."

At this point he slammed his head hard on the floor again: "Useless Kreacher, useless Kreacher!"

Audrey couldn't help but admire Regulus's bravery and perseverance. According to Edward, drinking that kind of potion would not only bring pain, but also make people uncontrollably refuse to continue taking it.

In the original book, even Dumbledore couldn't bear it, and finally drank up the potion in the stone basin with the help of Harry, but Regulus did it by himself.

Sirius's expression grew darker and darker, "Stop it you idiot! Go on, and what about that locket?"

"I returned home and tried every possible way, but I couldn't leave even the slightest trace on it." Kreacher raised his head again, his forehead stained with blood. "So I could only hide it first...but, but last month...it suddenly disappeared."

"Gone?!"

Veins popped up in Sirius' cheeks.

Edward said hurriedly: "Don't worry Sirius, Professor Dumbledore came and took it away. Please help me with the book and update the whole book."

Kreacher immediately looked over with bulging eyes, "Dumbledore... Dumbledore is the thief who stole the young master's locket?" He screamed loudly, "Give it back to Kreacher! Let him give it to Kreacher!"

Edward said calmly, "Professor Dumbledore has destroyed the locket. You have completed the task that Regulus gave you, Kreacher."

Kreacher was stunned for a moment, opened his mouth and stammered a few words, then fell into a daze again.

Sirius also fell into a long silence. He didn't expect that his younger brother, whom he had hated and disliked for so long and considered a coward, would do such a thing without anyone knowing.

He suddenly remembered Kreacher's words: he chose to leave because he hated the Black family's remarks and attitudes about pure blood. It seemed that he had abandoned the darkness and walked towards the light. But wasn't this also a form of escape?

After knowing Voldemort's true face, Regulus was able to resolutely face death against Voldemort, which shows that he is not what he thought. If... he had not left the Black family and had his own influence, Regulus would definitely not have chosen the wrong path and ended up like that.

The three little ones stood quietly by, feeling sorry for the unmet Regulus. He had clearly fought against Voldemort silently, but after his death he was still misunderstood by everyone - including his brother.

Harry hesitated and asked, "Kreacher, where is that cave?"

Kreacher immediately said angrily: "Kreacher, I will not allow anyone to disturb Master Regulus!"

"But don't you wish you could bring his remains back and bury them in the Black family cemetery?"

He was stunned for a moment, his expression a little hesitant.

Sirius said solemnly, "Take me to that cave, Kreacher."

Kreacher said nothing more, seeming to have chosen to agree.

Edward then spoke up: "If you want to get back the locket that Regulus left in the stone basin, you have to think carefully..."

Sirius said silently: "I drink."

"Uh, that's not necessary."

He did not answer, but looked at Edward in surprise and asked, "Why...you are so clear about these things? According to Kreacher, only he, Regulus and Voldemort should know about this."

The three children said in unison: "Because Edward can tell fortunes!"

Divination and prophecy?

As the most useless course recognized by Hogwarts, Sirius and most normal students are disdainful of it, believing that the so-called divination predictions are all false.

Now it seems that this is not the case.

Of course, it is very likely that divination is only useful for people like Edward who have learned it. A crazy woman like Sybill Trelawney is just a pure liar!

The answers of the three little ones made it unnecessary for Edward to make up any more excuses. Well, it seemed that his previous performance as an astrologer to tell fortunes for everyone was quite successful.

"Harry, Ron, Hermione, you stay here, we will be back soon."

"Okay~"

Although the three little lions were full of curiosity at the moment, they all behaved very well.

"Come on, Kreacher."

Edward and Audrey held hands, then put a hand on Sirius' shoulder, and he held Kreacher's wrist.

"Lilith, Susie, don't run around either."

"Meow~"

"Woof!"

Crackling.

The next second, they arrived at a small island located in a dim cave.

It was more like a large flat black slab of stone on the dark lake than an island. There was nothing on it except a bright green light emitting from a stone basin a few meters away that looked like a meditation bowl.

"ah!"

Audrey suddenly shouted softly. She saw the endless black lake surrounding the island, with densely packed corpses floating in it, which made her scalp tingle.

"This is it."

Kreacher said something, then stared blankly at the corpse in the Black Lake, tears streaming down his face: "Oh, Master Regulus, where are you... Kreacher is so useless, wuwuwu."

"Shut up!"

Sirius growled, "Those are Inferi, do you want us to be dragged down by them too?"

As he spoke, he stared at the corpses for a while, probably wondering if his brother Regulus was among them. Then he took two or three steps to the stone basin, which was filled with emerald green liquid that emitted a glittering phosphorescent light.

"Is this that potion?"

He stretched out his hand to touch the green liquid, but found that it was blocked by an invisible layer. No matter how hard he tried, he could not reach down any further and could not touch the liquid.

Kreacher then silently stepped forward and was about to bend over to drink the potion in the stone basin: "Master Regulus, Kreacher... is here to get what you left here."

"Get out of the way, you idiot."

Sirius pushed him away, "You have nothing to do here!"

"No! Kreacher wants Master Regulus' locket back!"

"I just said, I can drink it myself!"

Sirius took out the prepared crystal cup and filled it with emerald green potion from the stone basin, then took a deep breath and drank it all in one gulp.

Edward suddenly reached out to stop him: "Wait, Sirius."

"Why, do you want to try it too?"

"Of course not?"

He shook his head. "I was just wondering, this design that makes people unable to touch the potion and can only drink it... can it be considered a kind of magic?"

Sirius frowned, "Of course it's magic, but I've never heard of this kind of magic before, and I don't know how to unlock it. I can only do as I'm told."

Yes, even in the original book, Dumbledore had no choice but to drink the potion after some attempts.

"Well, do you have a way to break the curse?"

"No." Edward smiled, "But I have a way to overturn the table."

Sirius: "???"

"Magic is forbidden here."

Chapter 261 What is the biggest regret in Harry Potter?

Almost instantly, the green light emitted by the potion in the stone basin dimmed significantly.

Before Edward could get the locket, Sirius asked in astonishment, "What did you do?"

"Just banning magic in this area."

As he spoke, he reached his hand into the potion and used [Distort] to push the liquid in the opposite direction, taking out the locket at the bottom of the stone basin.

Edward then lifted the ban, turned the locket over, and sure enough, found a folded piece of parchment where the portrait had been.

He opened it, took a look, and handed it to Sirius:

"To the Dark Lord
