Before Liss could utter a single syllable, Naia was already airborne.
"I CALL DIBS!" she shouted, mid-spin, her arms bursting into rolling arcs of violet flame.
Korrin gasped. "Naia, NO—that's not even in the plan!"
"Since when do I follow plans?"
Too late.
She launched herself directly at the divine warhead.
What followed was less like a battle and more like a fireworks show hosted by a lunatic fire goddess.
"I BURNED MY TEA THIS MORNING," Naia roared, "AND NOW YOU PAY!"
She spiraled, her flame turning black-purple at the edges. The fusion tried to counter with a beam of pure law. Naia ate it—sucked the divine beam into her lungs, then exhaled a phoenix scream that tore through scripture.
The impact cracked the fusion's outer form.
Korrin fainted.
Elyse yelled from the sideline, "She's using chaotic fire bloom! That's forbidden even in god-territory!"
"Yeah," Thessaly muttered, shielding her eyes. "That's our Naia."
By the time the smoke cleared, the fusion was stumbling—and Naia stood with a grin, slightly smoking.
"Told you," she said. "Final boss."
