Eutostea lost peace of mind for a moment and mulled over if she should just smack him across his handsome face, but she barely managed to maintain a defensive position, recalling the previous consequences of her nonrational behaviors.
‘I should slightly distance myself from this guy who doesn’t seem to know at all that it’s impolite to approach a woman and look at her face from a very close distance.’
As Eutostea stealthily stepped back, the man thought she was afraid of him.
“I’m not threatening you or so to tell me the answer. Don’t be afraid. I really just want to know.”
“How could I not be afraid of you?”
She was confronting a man with her bare hands who looked like a beggar and had a bear-like physique; even though he had no weapons in his hand, he was holding a sacred wine carelessly, which could break at any time. Eutostea was so tensed up that she had her fuzzy hair stand up on end, but at the same time, she was dumbfounded.
