Balira entered a bakery where they serve hot cocoa not far from the mansion, "I'll order a hot cocoa and a doughnut" she ordered while shivering. She took her order and went to sit down when someone tapped her shoulder "excuse me miss umm that's my seat" the guy said apologetically. Balira turned, faced him, and was surprised to see Davis her old schoolmate.
" oh my gosh, Balira is that you," Davis said surprised as Balira. " yes Davis it's me, how have you been" Balira felt happy seeing a familiar face. To be honest, Balira didn't really have friends, she considered Davis a study buddy and nothing more but Davis, on the other hand, didn't see Balira as such.
They chatted, laughed, and enjoyed each other's company. It was getting late and cold as the heavens opened, it was making Balira shiver, which didn't slip the notice of Davis.
"Hey Balira, do you have a place to stay, if not you could come with me. it's already late and you're shivering you know". He smiled at her. Balira was touched by his offer, he still cares about her and she could see it in his eyes. But before Balira could reply to his kind gesture....."Yes she has a place to stay and a husband" Asad appeared outta nowhere. He grabs Balira by the hand and basically Yanks her out of the shop, before Davis could react they were gone. .....
Balira and Asad got into their car in silence. Minutes passed and Asad finally broke the pin-drop silence "Why did you leave the party, you're my wife. You shouldn't act without my permission. Balira had had enough of it . There was no way she would let Asad push and boss her around. "Enough, I get that I'm your wife and all but you can't control me. I'm not your puppet" she wanted to leave the car but Asad held her hand.
"Where do you think you're going," he said petrified. "Let go of me. I don't wanna go with you" she started struggling but Asad's grip power was stronger than her tiny dainty hand could handle. Asad pulled Balira closer to him and rested his head on the nook of her neck. They remained in that position for a couple of minutes, nothing but their heavy breathing could be heard.
Asad then spoke "Balira, please don't be stubborn. please come home with me" Asad's breath was hot on Balira's skin. His hot breath sent chills down Balira's spine. Asad didn't get a response from Balira so he rose his head. Their faces are inches from touching. His lips brushed her's as he spoke again, this time his voice hoarse "Balira I beg you just come home with me, please. Balira felt very emotional and guilty for making Asad beg like this. She let out a single tear...
