Thinking about the kiss that he had exchanged with Jal, he couldn't stop smiling. Even though he was strolling through the woods on his own to clear his head to only realise he was overthinking too much and headed back to see his guy.
He stopped suddenly, watery-eyed, he did not know what to think, he considered looking for him, though he just sat still as a statue waiting patiently hoping for his return. He couldn't think properly nor did he have the energy to hunt or light a fire.
That afternoon had dragged on, as he sat there in the dark with only the full moon shining down, but somehow, he had managed to get some shut-eye. He didn't wake up till Jal had found him lifeless and made several attempts to wake him. "Boy...You sure can sleep, Igor," Jal said, sounding slightly anxious.
Igor looking at him blurry-eyed, "J...J...Jal...Is that really you?",
"Yes, it is Igor, what's gotten into you" "
"Nothing really just have a lot on my mind and to answer your first question, I am usually a light sleeper, just haven't been eating or sleeping well"
"You do look cute when you are sleeping and you must look after yourself when I'm not around. Here have this Juicy Stag" Jal said, making Igor blush slightly.
It had been a while since Igor had eaten and with something so mouth-watering dived right in trying not to get too messy in-front of his new man.
"Hey...hey...hey...go easy, you want to saviour that deer"
"Why...What's so special about this deer?" Igor spoke with his mouth full.
"Just that I don't want you to get indigestion, as we have a long day of walking" Jal jogged his memory to find his calling.
Igor swallows hard "Good point Jal, that's why I need you, sometimes I do feel like a unsupervised child"

A little while later they set off chatting and laughing, discussing what they may encounter. They had found that discovering places together is all they needed.
Sometimes the simplest thing is all you need, we create the complex matter thinking we need something when it is right under our noses.
