Ateara
As we journeyed through the woodlands just Seth and I. I realised that my journey is finally over and that I could finally start to head home. The only thing that still had me thinking was that feeling Seth was keeping something from me, but I'm sure there was a good reason for him doing so. This did not stop from eating me up inside though. What also made it more suspicious was that Seth occasionally wandered off in the middle of the night. I needed to find out what he was hiding that was so sacred.
His everlasting hugs from behind just had me forget momentarily what I was pondering about.
"Hey Ateara, What were you thinking about?" Seth snuck up behind me, making me jump slightly out of my daze.
"Oh! Nothing really, just thinking about you mostly." Seth aww'ed "You're cute".
"I'm just thinking that I don't really know much about you. You have really kept quiet about your life" I asked him.
"There is not a lot to tell about me, am just a hybrid like you" Seth replied back, but I sensed a quiver in his throat.
"I won't get mad, I just want you to be honest with me and that I will always be here for you Seth, who told you not to tell me anything?" I questioned Seth, I saw he was a little frightened, so I held back a moment, let him get some words together and explain.
"I… I… c… can't…" Seth stuttered, "I really… can not tell you, he will know and stop me… stop you from knowing…" Seth started saying.
"What? What are you trying to say? Who is this other guy you are talking about?" I questioned him like I did last time. "What are you, I mean what are they hiding from me?" I asked Seth.
"Please don't make me, I don't want to lose you again…" Seth blurted out.
"Again? What do you mean again?" I repeated confusedly.
"I… I… nothing… I said too much"
"TELL ME!!!..." I started yelling, when a mysterious fog came flooding through. "Chief?"
"Good to see you too, Ateara. It has indeed been a long time. I have been wondering why you haven't contacted me, but now I know you have been busy." Chief Black grumbled.
"I… I… well…" I stuttered as I scratched my head, "What do you mean Chief?" I asked in confusion.
"Ah! I see I said too much already sorry Seth" Chief apologized.
I looked back and forth between Chief and Seth, I couldn't get my head round it all.
"Do they know each other?" I thought, "Do you know…" I asked, as I pointed between the two of them. They shook their heads suspiciously, I wasn't really buying the vibes they were giving me.
"Will someone tell me the truth?" I asked, almost yelling.
Everyone went quiet for a while, before Chief Black opened his mouth. "Young Ateara, such aggression, but looks to me that you are very happy. I've been told not to tell you, but you leave me no choice and it seems like you are ready…"
"No! No Chief! Please… I Beg of you…" Seth pleaded.
"It is time, Seth, we can't keep it from Ateara forever. It must be now" Chief explained to Seth. Seth bowed his head down and softly nodded standing by Chief Black's side.
"Ateara! I have been following your path and you have been getting around. I was worried at first then Seth showed up. He is your true mate."
"My what?" Ateara asked in confusion.
"Your Mate. He is…" Chief started.
"You are my soulmate Ateara. We are destined to be, but there is also one more thing you must know is that I am also part witch…" Seth explained.
"Wait you're a Tri-brid, that's… pretty cool, but how is it that we are destined to be?" Ateara asked.
"We don't choose our path when destiny is involved", Seth recited what the chief had once spoken.
Ateara fell silent trying to consume the information that he just heard. Seth walked up to Ateara, patted him on the shoulder then pulled him in for a hug.
"How have you kept this from me for so long, why not mention it when we confessed our love that time by the river?" Ateara asked.
"Ateara? Don't get me wrong I tried, I really wanted to, but I fell hard for you so fast I didn't want my heart broken again" Seth pleaded.
Seth and Ateara talked through their issues and got to know each other a little bit more, things soon became intimate and as it did so nicely Chief Black happily slipped-away in the distance leaving them to be lost in their gazes in front of the setting sun.
2 Years Later…
Ateara and Seth have been back home with Jacob and Renesmee and are more happy than they first met. Though the Cullens were a little more worried at the fact that Seth was part witch which had set them on edge especially when Seth's sister came who was a fully fledged witch.
