Chapter 5: The Joy of Learning

Afterward, Luo Shengrong, Huang Shujun, and Su Hao sat around a table, officially conducting a significant family meeting.

The topic of discussion was "How Luo Chaohui should go to school."

After a somewhat intense discussion, the family council decided on Su Hao's future learning plan: skipping grades, obtaining school records, studying independently for half the time, and attending school for the other half to seek clarification from teachers.

After negotiation with the school and conducting tests on Su Hao, they happily agreed to his enrollment. The school even offered to waive a series of miscellaneous fees for Su Hao. A mutually beneficial plan was quickly settled upon.

At just over 5 years old, Su Hao became a proud junior high school student.

However, the difficulty of subjects such as math and physics in junior high was insignificant to him. After a brief review, he began studying high school-level content.

The only slightly challenging subjects for him were humanities and social sciences, such as history and politics.

But this didn't pose a problem for Su Hao. He simply used the ball space to record all the content.

However, when it came time to use his recorded knowledge for exams, Su Hao encountered an issue. The knowledge information stored in the ball space was not essentially recorded by him personally. To find it again, he needed to spend a significant amount of time searching, which made the extraction process highly inefficient.

Thus, Su Hao had an idea: Could he organize the recorded information into categorized storage so that he could easily find the relevant sub-projects when needed?

Thinking about it, he accessed the ball space through a mysterious connection. It was desolate, seemingly empty, yet contained infinite information.

The first step was to categorize the information.

How should he do it?

The space contained all the information since its inception, appearing chaotic and disorderly. Sorting through this information seemed like an impossible task.

However, through years of deep understanding of the ball space, Su Hao discovered that the stored information was arranged in chronological order. In other words, the most recent information could be quickly found, but very old information required diving deep into the space and flipping back to locate it.

After contemplating for a moment, Su Hao came up with an idea.

He just needed to label each tiny time interval with corresponding numbers to determine the events or information within that time frame. By categorizing these numbers, he would effectively classify all the information.

For example, within a minute of 60 seconds, each second would be assigned a number: 1, 2, 3... 60. In this minute, Su Hao recorded a historical event in the first ten seconds, sneezed between 20 and 30 seconds, noted a mathematical formula from 30 to 40 seconds, scratched an itch between 40 and 50 seconds, and recorded another mathematical formula from 50 to 60 seconds. Thus, the events within this minute could be categorized as "history," "trivial matters," and "mathematics." Seconds 1-10 would be classified as history, 20-30 and 40-50 as trivial matters, and 30-40 and 50-60 as mathematics.

This way, the classification of information could be completed.

However, this kind of classification would require time and effort that Su Hao alone couldn't accomplish. Besides, he couldn't afford to be distracted and categorize every single thing he encountered at any given time.

So, Su Hao thought of another method—intelligence.

Dealing with overwhelmingly trivial information was not a forte of the human brain. That's why humans invented computers to assist with processing and storing vast amounts of complex information.

If he could transform the ball space into a supercomputing center capable of automatically processing information, it would be self-evident how beneficial it would be for Su Hao. It would be like carrying an intelligent system with him.

However, building such a system would be incredibly challenging.

The main difficulties lay in Su Hao's time availability and his knowledge base.

Time was relatively manageable as long as he was patient enough. He could slowly accumulate it. But what he lacked now was the crucial information technology, including how to accurately filter, classify, search, extract, and further compare, communicate, and automate.

Su Hao exited the ball space and carefully organized his plan.

Next, without much hesitation, he focused on studying. He retrieved all the knowledge of high school-level science with the assistance of the ball space, learning at an extraordinary speed.

At the age of seven, Su Hao completed the entire curriculum of high school-level science, took the college entrance examination, and was admitted to a prestigious university in the country. It caused a sensation nationwide, as he was recognized as a genius and the future of the nation.

If everything went smoothly, Su Hao could truly become one of the top-tier technological research talents with the help of the ball space.

In September, he smoothly enrolled in university, and his parents quit their jobs to move to Shangzhou City, the city where the university was located. They found new jobs and accompanied Su Hao in his studies.

Four years later, Su Hao completed the undergraduate programs in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and information technology.

Of course, he encountered many difficulties during his studies. However, surrounded by helpful senior students, professors, and their extraordinary patience, Su Hao received the greatest assistance, which was the primary reason he successfully completed these courses within four years.

Without anyone's help, it would have taken him at least twenty years to achieve the same result through self-study.

During these four years, to alleviate the financial burden on his parents, Su Hao also worked as a scribe, copying books and songs. He became immensely popular for a while, known as the youngest and most versatile genius in the country, with even more fame than some top celebrities.

Of course, copying books and songs wasn't Su Hao's goal; it was merely a means to support his learning. So, after earning enough money, he stopped.

However, Su Hao felt regretful that this world lacked the Four Great Classical Novels. It was a pity that people in this alternate world couldn't experience these literary masterpieces.

To show his gratitude for the help he received from this world, Su Hao decided that when he had the time, he would write the Four Great Classical Novels and let everyone appreciate the brilliance of the Monkey King.

As for whether his act of copying books would raise suspicion...

So what if there were suspicions? No evidence could be found. Making money was the priority. Who cared about anything else?

The most important thing was to free up time and energy to learn knowledge as quickly as possible.

Thus, when Su Hao graduated from college, an adapted version of "Journey to the West" was released.

Initially, "Journey to the West" didn't have much fame, but with the deliberate promotion and Su Hao's reputation, it quickly became popular.

In that year, the adapted "Journey to the West" became the best-selling book in the entire country, without any rivals.

Although not everyone who bought it would necessarily read it, the association with the "Light of Genius" made many people believe that buying the book could bring them a touch of genius...

Afterward, Su Hao's parents used the money he earned to buy a luxurious villa in Shangzhou City.

In the villa, Luo Shengrong and Huang Shujun hosted a graduation party for Su Hao, congratulating him on his admission to graduate school.

"Congratulations

to our beloved son Xiaohui on his joyful graduation and entry into a new stage of life!"

*Clap!*

Fireworks exploded.

Luo Shengrong and Huang Shujun immediately cheered, lifting Su Hao up into the air and catching him securely.

At this moment, Luo Shengrong had become a plump and chubby man, his former handsomeness long gone.

On the other hand, Huang Shujun, dressed up, had shed her old age appearance and looked radiant, like a young woman in her late twenties.

Indeed, wealth could change a person's spirit and vigor.

Huang Shujun said to Su Hao, "Xiaohui, do you have any wishes? Your dad and I can fulfill one of your wishes each."

Luo Shengrong nodded with a smiling face.

Su Hao nodded and said, "Yes, I do. I want to study low-level source code development and system software programming."

Luo Shengrong and Huang Shujun immediately had two question marks in their minds but didn't dare to ask. They simply smiled as if nothing happened and said, "Sure, we promise you. What else?"

Su Hao thought for a moment and said, "I would like a younger brother or sister."

"What?"

Luo Shengrong and Huang Shujun wore confused expressions on their faces, then exchanged a glance, unexpectedly blushing.
